This is the precious image that I'm using
in my little assemblage in the sewing machine drawer ~
I scanned it over a year ago from a
precious antique child's book!
I may have given it to you already but here it is again...
Enjoy using it for your artwork as well :)
I hope you are having a wonderful day!
hugs and love,
Dawn

That is such a sweet image. Reminds me of my daughter, she wakes up everyday happy ...like the sun is shining and a bird is singing outside her window.
Thank you.
Angie
Such a sweet little girl:-)
Have a nice weekend Dawn, hugs Hege.
Hi Dawn ~ This is such a wonderful little image!! Precious really. Isn't it the way we would all like to wake up each morning?! Thank you, thank you for being so giving to us. In your last post I noticed the beginnings to your assemblage using this dear image - it looks fantastic already - can't wait to see the end result!
I always love to come to your little nest here ...

BTW, did you have a chance to check out my Birthday tribute post for our Bella Rosa girl? Hope so.
Very cute! I love children's book art!
Oh, this is so darling. What a cute illustration! :-)

Dawn,
Love the child and the bird image. It reminds me of this poem that I learned from my mom and an teaching it to my 3 year old grand daughter.
A birdie with a yellow bill
Hopped upon my windowsill
Cocked his shiny eye and said
Ain't you 'shamed, you sleepy head.
Can't wait to see the finished art.

PS. My mum used to wake me up with Jill's poem! Small world. ;-)
Dawn, this is just lovely. Let's each of us dream our own little dreams.
Yes, I snagged it then and I'm doing it again now that I've had the computer crash and lost all my collected images. Thank you...off to see what you're creating with it.
What a sweet picture! I love old childrens books! The little child below is sweet, too..but sad!
Dawn, thank you for that sweet image! I would love to wake up to sunshine like sweet little girl did. We got nine & a half inches the last 24 hours. Better than ice & snow like so many others are getting. Hope you have a wonderful weekend. HUGS! Charlene
