Do you do this? Pack things away for safekeeping, thinking, "I'll store these in this spot so nothing will happen to them!" And then...You. forget. the spot.
I do it ALL the time! But I did find some more ornaments that I tucked away. Here's a few more photos of the tree in progress:
These are a few little cones I made a while back ~ looks like they need candy!
I love these sparkly birds ~
Isn't this the most incredible color? It's a vintage ornament and I'm not too crazy about the bursts on it but the patina is so beautiful, faded and still around to celebrate Christmas!

Beautiful decorations! You know it´s so fantastic to see and feel the christmas spirit around You all there. We don´t decorate our tree or until the day before Christmas Eve. We do put up adventlights and stars in our windows on the first sunday in december. I will tell moore on my blog later!

Lovely lovely lovely. I do that ALL the time...pack things away and then forget about them, sometimes I find them the next year..sometimes it's a few years later!!
I love old mercury glass ornaments. Losing them? One time I lost all the ornaments and we had to replace everything! Then the next year the old box showed up. We're still scratching our heads. Oh well. Blessings... Polly (p.s. my comments are turned off right now but please don't take offense. I chatting with you.)
Dawn, thank you for the lovely birthday wishes!!!

Hi Dawn, thanks for coming to see me. Your tree is just beautiful! I have that same Christmas card ornament and it hung on my Shabby Chic tree last year. I loved that tree. It was white with angels and a lot of victorian ornaments .Very pretty ! This year its Retro at our house, which I love as well. I remember as a child , we kids would look into the glass balls hanging on the tree and watch our noses grow !That was fun, but we broke a few of Mom's Christmas balls doing that. Which didn't make Mom to happy, to say the least!
Blessings,Shelley
How truly lovely your ornaments are...all are special in their own way. Very pretty, as all of the things your hands touch are!

ABsolutely..
