As women, we are the nest makers. The ones who really make a house a home. Surround yourself with things you love. As you walk through your home and you see your found treasures, momentos of good times had, photos of loved ones, you will smile . . .
This is so true! Someone once asked me, why I go into such detail to make things special. This person did not understand, thats how I make memories. Its in the details. Its my fingerprint on everything I touch, and its imprinted in each of my children. Its in every room of my home.
Wonderful thoughts and photos. When I see a house that is pristine and bare, I feel sorry for the people living there..I was taught to surround yourself with the things you love and I do. My home is full and loved!
I just wouldn't know what to do without family photos all around me (new and old). They are comfort. I am definately a nest featherer!!I even collect and display real birds' nests everywhere in my house. I only take the nests that fall to the ground. Amy
My name is Dawn Edmonson. I'm a wife for 44 years to the same wonderful man, mother to five amazing sons ranging in age from 43 to 27 years old and grandmother to five precious girls and two sweet boys.I love to create one-of-a-kind artwork to sell in my Etsy shop. I enjoy keeping up with my blog and am amazed at the inspiration I get from others blogs and sweet comments that are left for me. I am drawn to all things old, with plenty of character and enjoy using small, antique trinkets in my artwork. Being able to create is truly my bliss.
