A bit of artwork

This is a little assemblage I made this past week while I was off and I really enjoyed making it. It is my Ode to Spring! I've used an old key, vintage millinery flowers & lace, I made the little nest and inserted a speckled egg, beautiful music from a french book, twigs and a real feather!
It's for sale in my Etsy shop.

And this sweet baby shoe has been jazzed up with a pin cushion, vintage button, an old Snow White watch face, an old safety pin holding a charm I made with a little Besse Pease picture inside.
It's for sale also in the Etsy shop!

No comments! Awww gosh! People need to see this little shoe! Was this your idea? Every time I think there is nothing else to think of...someone thinks of it before me. Thank you for linking me :) Now can I have the shoe?

I love your vintage baby shoe idea and your assemblage is so creative. I love birds, so anything with a bird theme appeals to me - which is how I found your blog. With a fantastic name like 'the feathered nest' how could I not visit!
