The thought for the day ~

I ran across a wonderful status update
by a sweet friend Jeanne Oliver on FB last night
and thought it would be the perfect
"thought for the day"...

"If there is one thing I have learned in my life so far is that negativity breeds negativity.
Surround yourself with others that exude light, love, kindness, forgiveness,
grace and a gentle tongue.
After people leave your presence how do they feel?
Do they feel uplifted and encouraged?
Do they see their day in a different light?
I know we all can stumble with this but what a goal to reach for."

This truly is always my goal ~

My first little creations to be published in a magazine,
I just couldn't believe it ~

I always pray that I will leave others feeling better...
encouraged...
and always, always uplifted.

Just a beautiful thought for the day that I knew you would love ~

Happy Tuesday angels,
hugs and love,
Dawn

I still remember how very special you made my day the first time I came in to your shop. You were kind and generous and opened up my world to blogging. I don't think you will ever know until you reach the other side just how much your life has impacted people. But know today that you have indeed impacted mine!

The words themselves say it all...thoughtful vs. thoughtless. It does require striving to keep a positive outlook on life rather than being consumed in the seamier part of it.
As I keep getting older (and law that is happening way too fast), I've chose to eliminate those who harsh my buzz. Doesn't mean I won't be "business" nice when seeing them, just that I choose not to associate with them on a personal level. As my mother always said..."If you lay down with dogs, you're gonna get up with fleas." Plus...I refuse to validate bad behavior. It only feeds whatever is driving it.
Now you my precious friend...you are so easy to love. Sweetie, the goodness in you starts at the tips of your hair and goes all the way to your toes. Love you to the moon and back...with every stop in between.

Dawn, you are truly an inspiration to all who know you personally or just know you through your blog. You are one of the first blogs I read and you truly "knocked my socks off"!!! I love the way you put things and see beauty everywhere. You have no worries about being negative my friend. I truly appreciate all the help you gave me when I started my blog!! I aspire to be like "You". Hope your back and leg are feeling better. I have suffered with it too and it is so debilitating!! I use chiropractic and it has been a lifesaver so many many times in my life. Prayers you will be feeling much better really soon!! Be blessed, Linda

I try to live by this goal too, and you and your blog does this each and every time I read it. We all know the sun can't shine everyday, but people will always remember how you made them feel. Big hugs Dawn, boy I sure do wish I could give you one in person!!!! Patty/BC

That was truly an inspiring thought. I think that’s really true, if you want a positive outlook in life. I hope everyone could read your inspiring message. Would you mind if I post this on our board at work. I bet my colleagues will really love and be inspired of it, as well. Thanks!
