A little change can be so GOOD ~ and a sachet giveaway!

We were so busy this past weekend!
We had the bright idea to move our furniture all around
and bring our big old buffet into the living room
to place our tv on and that in turn caused
a domino effect!! (You all know how that goes, right?)

These photos are not the best but I still wanted to share ~
I need to work on the front of the buffet to fix that little area where
a piece of veneer is missing but SO love it in the living room!
That's Clara's little leg showing...I should have taken more photos of her too!

We moved the big ol' beautiful wardrobe out and this
gave us room to place the skirted table on the opposite end of the room ~
We need new furniture badly but oh well, it's what we have
and I am thankful!
OH and see that wall behind the chair?
I will be filling that thing up SOON!

You can see the large wardrobe that was moved out
and it now has a new home in the dining room!
I've got about eight thousand things crammed on top...
Thank goodness for the high ceilings in this old farmhouse!!!

The grandbabies were here all day Sunday and I could just kick myself for not taking
tons of photos of them!!! I was just so tired from our Saturday's moving I simply
didn't get around to it....They were precious and Murray is now 9 months old!!!
The time just flies by, doesn't it?

AND I HAVE TO SHARE.....

I've offered up three lavender sachets for a giveaway
on Tracie's blog Fishtail Cottage!!
Simply visit her blog to comment to win ~

Thank you always for stopping by to see me...and
especially for taking the time to comment!

Wishing you a beautiful Monday dear friends,
hugs and love,
Dawn

Hi, hopped over from Fishtail Cottage. Love the sachets! Moving furniture around is always fun but definitely tiring. That wardrobe is amazing! Happy to be a new follower.

I love your farmhouse and antiques. And can just imagine the beautiful scents from the sachets.

I know exactly how you feel! My son and I spent much of the weekend rearranging his room to accommodate a new bed and, well, domino effect indeed! The fall-out from making his space organised again has left three other spaces needing attention now! But, it is worth it and things are coming together nicely. I love seeing pics of your lovely home. Enjoy your week.

Yup. We know the domino effect quite well. I'm sure that everyone understands that concept. The changes you made look wonderful! As for needing new furniture...yup, we do, too, and it isn't coming any time soon. Sigh. We'll make do. It's the way things are in this economy.

Dear Dawn, It's hard to take pictures with a grand baby in your arms! Flat screen TV's are great, though hard to decorate around. I like the chest and all the changes you made. Be careful not to overdo my friend. Have a great week. Love, Penny

Dear Dawn, Sometimes we just have to move....but stay in our own house. love the pictures. My kids used to come home from school to find nothing where it was. They still joke about it. Have a great summer day, Your mary.

Moving furniture around offers a new perspective and keeps things fresh. I love to do it, but my husband, not so much. We keep each other balanced!
I'm off to check the giveaway.
