Ellie update!

Tina of Garden Goose asked me about little Ellie so I thought I'd snap a photo of her! She's still pretty small and such a sweet little girl. She loves her family so very much. Here she is snoozing with Paxton, our son Brad's cat. She had to wake up to see what I was up to, but Paxton was totally not concerned. She'll soon be one year old July 15th!!

I'm finally finishing up my big project to send in and will hopefully be back to creating for my Etsy again. I've just added a few new things that had been in my antique space if you'd like to take a look!!

I'm so very excited!! If you read Fifi's blog, Chez Fifi, she's shown the cover of the new Romantic Country magazine! Well, there's a little surprise inside . . . :)

It should hit the newsstands really soon . . .

Oh, and I wanted to tell you that the little cardinal nest is in a large bush right beside our garage. So I just take a step stool outside and I can get the photo from the top step!!

Hope you have a happy Tuesday!! xxoo, Dawn

oh Dawn..thanks for sharing the photo of Ellie and Paxton..Ellie is still as pretty and sweet looking as ever..hard to believe she is a year old now..gosh time flies.
when the cardinals made a nest in our yard..I was surprised that they put it in some vines that were about chest high on me..unfortunately it was too easy for something else to discover as well..that's why I hope your little cardinal babies thrive well and make it.
nature can be so strange sometimes...but oh so fun to watch and experience all the wonders of it.
must go check out chez fifi and your new etsy additions.
have a lovely day dear friend.

Hi Dawn... You have adorable pets.. Tom and I have chosen not to have any pets at this time in our lives.. we want the freedom to go and come without the worry of boarding ect. In my past years I have raised alot of animals.. Had a pet deer and fox ....coon.. pheasants... cats.. dogs... 8 horses.. As I say many. I love them but it is also nice not to have to be concerned about them.. We feed the neighbors cats our craps out in the field... Deer run by.. coon and other critters I perfer didn't stop by...LOL Ellie is so sweet I could just pick her up and hug her.... Have a good day.... Have you heard from MYRNA??? I hope she is well... I think I will send her a email.....

I think I'm in love with little Ellie. Though her coloring is completely different, she reminds me so much of my Min Pin, Leyna.

Your etsy things are enchanting!

Thank you for the link to Chez Fifi. What a nice blog! :-)
