A little article in Small Town Living
E-magazine ~

Seems funny sometimes to promote yourself. As women, don't you find that it's basically against our nature? We put others first, the house and then lastly ourselves. What I'm finding is that at this tender age of 46 that my boys are older, three actually living out on their own. Chase is on the cusp of taking flight and little Noah is bringing up the rear and just thinks that he's seventeen.

But back to my point. Right now, at this age, I feel like it's OK. It's time to feel comfortable with a little self-promotion. I've always loved creating but now, at this time in my life, it has been truly fulfilling. Having my blog, meeting so many of you wonderful, creative friends has encouraged me all the more to step outside of my comfort zone and experience a few new things!

Thank you again my friends ~

Tina of Garden Goose contacted me a few weeks back and asked me if I would like to write an article for their online Small Town Living e-magazine. A few years back, I would have politely declined. But I gladly agreed and wrote the article!! I'd love for you to take a look. The magazine is chock full of information and articles. Click here to visit the Small Town Living website and just click on the magazine cover to open the PDF file to read!! Thank you so much Tina and Paul!

Congratulations Dawn! I'm going to find Small Town Living and check it out!

A new mag is being published in our region. Someone has encouraged me to write something for it. I told her, if I am contacted, I'll seriously give it some thought. After all, I'll be 65 this year and I've always been told, you're never too old to broaden your horizons!

I can't wait to read your article!

Best of luck!
Pat

I loved the article, especially where you say a "second chance to shine." It made me think that we may be dingy, tattered or broken in places, but we can shine anew! Thanks for sharing! Congrats!

The article is great! This is a great little magazine! I read the other articles, as well. The ChicoBag thing caught my eye, and believe it or not, that is where I am originally from! I, too, have learned to promote myself! It seems to be working! I enjoy reading about what you are doing! Jamie in MT

You know Dawn, I truly feel that our blogs are exactly about self promotion. Promoting that part of self that is inner core, spirit and imagination. And getting to share it with the most amazingly supportive group of women I have ever had the honor of meeting. Promote away because you have a huge cheering section behind and in front of you saying you can do it and congratulations.
