I am SO happy that the new studio is almost finished!
You all knew how much I had and it truly has been a challenge
fitting it all into our new space but it's working!
OH and in other news....
I've decided to go silver!!!!
It's kind of hard because I've used cheap box color on my dark hair for so long.
But my sweet niece Adrian worked for hours to get me to this point!
It's a work in progress but I'm ready.
I'm almost 58 years old and tired of coloring the stuff!!!
Just our kitty sweet Luna loving the trash basket!
I still haven't gotten back to creating because I've been working on a huge yard sale!
My son and I have been going through all that I have and he's purging from his home as well.
As soon as it's over I pray that I will finally feel comfortable enough to create again.
So in the mean time I've taken a few close up photos of the new studio!!!
It's okay to have a few mascots, right?
Our precious otter and my antique Tutti doll.
Always surround yourself with all that you love!!!
It will inspire your creative soul and be such a precious space of refuge.
Thank you always for stopping by to see what I'm up to.
I'm praying that very soon I will have new offerings that I've made too!!
Hugs and love,
Dawn

So inspirational to be able to see all your glorious elements. It just invites you to create. I'm curious, when I have to move, I will have 2 rooms set up for my studio. Do you find that you work in your studio, or do you put the stuff you are working on into a basket and then take that to your bedroom to work on? I tend to do everything in my bedroom because it's where my tv is located. p.s. This is why my bedroom is always a mess. :~(
Beautiful space! Your fabric stash is to die for! I am 61 and also home colored my hair dark for years. I got tired of chasing my skunk stripe and went blonde for about 4 years and while I really loved it, it was a pain to keep up an expensive. Last June I decided to STOP coloring for the first time in 20 years!! I have beautiful grey hair now and it is so liberating!!
You've done a fantastic job Dawn. Hope soon you will be happily creating there. Good luck with the yard sale. Wish I was close enough to attend. What a treasure haul that would be! Hugs.....
OOhh your Studio is absolutely gorgeous and it ´s lovely to see all your great stash and embellishments. Great Studio! and so lovely this hair colour, really beautiful. I also coloured my hairs from ... yearssss, now I ´m blond, but don´t know if the next year I´ll be, because I´m also tired.
I wish you a very soon creative day,
Big hugs, Caty
Lovely space, filled with so many treasures. What a perfect place to create! Have to also mention your hair color, I love the new look! Beautiful!
Your studio is amazing! I love your hair also. I have tried to stop coloring mine, but it is just such a washed out gray that it makes me look ill! I see others with lovely silver hair and wonder why mine doesn't do that! :) Yours looks great.
Dawn your new studio is beautiful! and looks like the perfect place to find tons of inspiration! Enjoy creating, amongst all your vintage treasures~! Hugs, karen o
Your hair looks amazing, Dawn. I stopped colouring my hair and I am so glad I did. Saves a ton of money and I never worry about roots.
I saw your Skipper doll. I had one as a child, my sister had the Barbie. I still have her.
*Smiles*
Your new studio is filled with so many lovely treasures to work with. Your little nests are precious. I hope to make some soon. Your hair looks beautiful. I hope your sale goes well. It sure feels good to pare things down a bit. Have a wonderful weekend.

Your studio and all of its sweetness is oh so lovely.
I love your silver hair also. I stopped coloring my hair around the age of 50, I'm now 70.
Have a wonderful weekend ~ FlowerLady
Your studio is amazing. I'm jealous at the organization! OK...I've been
coloring my hair since I was 18 at the beginning of my pre-maturing grey
or more likely white hair. (A hereditary malady!) I loved my auburn red
hair, and went from dark, to medium to light auburn. I considered going
all natural in my mid-50's, but my husband was totally against it. So, the
next best thing, I went blond. My hairdresser stripped out the color and
I've been doing my own blond ever since. For me, with my fine thin hair I
need the color to give me some body. I'm 71 and still coloring. You have
some seriously thick hair, I envy that!
love your studio and your way of staging.. treasures galore..
merci,
