'Tis a sad day for this old blogger ~

It finally happened.
My good ol' faithful computer gave up the ghost last night.
I've been so, so sad all day.
For the past almost nine years I've been blogging and
used that wonderful old thing.
I had files on it from 2008!!!
I do have an external hard drive that I pray has been backed up
recently enough ~ so many photographs, images and files.

SO.
I need to be proactive and get busy generating some cash to buy a new tower.

I've decided to have a SALE in my Etsy store!
Everything is 25% OFF until further notice.
Simply type SAVE25 in the Coupon Code box when checking out
to receive 25% off your entire order.

Here is the link to my shop if you'd like to take a peek ~

Now, to get busy making some new goodies to list!!!

And the precious elf/fairy shoes below were created using my tutorial
by a sweet blog friend and artist Jeanne Marie!

I guess I'd better stop pouting and get busy!!!

Thank you always for stopping by to see what I'm up to ~
hugs and love,
Dawn

Oh how I hate this news, Dawn. I sure hope they can retrieve all your info from your harddrive - go to the pros, they really have wonderful ways.

I lost a TON of stuff once a long while back, now my hubs has auto backup on the weekends. Whew. I cannot imagine your feelings right now. Ugh.

Saying a little prayer for ya. Hugs. ♥

Seems I just went through this...but I need to back up also Best Wishes on getting it all back in order. Little by Little. Loving all the photos of the lovely things you have created. Lots of inspiration to get my MoJo in gear. Hugs

If we would only have set aside a quarter for every time we turned on our computer!!! I feel your pain.

Dawn, so sorry to hear about "old faithful" biting the dust. I just switched over to a lap top, so I know how daunting it can be to start over. Your whole life is wrapped up in that machine! On the positive side: a new computer will be faster and store infinitely more data! I hope you're able to get a new one soon. I so enjoy being able to be inspired by your creativity and faith. Hugs, Terri

Bless your heart, our last one is over eight years old - mine bit the dust before we left Gulf Shores. We've chosen another Dell. It just gets down to forking out the money to get it. Blech. BUT it's been good for the years we've had it!

Praying with you that your hard drive can be saved. Our son in law, Brandon, is our techie in the family and that's a blessing. The computer comes via UPS in a big box, we take it to their home and he gets it all ready to plug up in our home :)
love and hugs,
Nancy

I'm so sorry about your computer sweet friend. I really hope and pray that your back-up was working Dawn. This happened to me earlier this year and I hadn't been doing my backups so I thought all was lost. Luckily our neighbor is our school districts tech person. He took my computer home and was able to retrieve everything. I wouldn't have been able to pay a tech to help me, so he was a God-send.It's a helpless feeling, and I sure hope that you get your photo files because I know how much they would mean to you (and to all of us who love your blog) They only bad thing about having to buy my new computer was that it was Windows 8 and I barely knew how to run Windows 7, so I had to learn a little something :)) And now there's Windows 10!

I know I have been absent a lot, but I do love to see you on FB when I go check on what everyone is doing. I love seeing all of your new projects and what's been going on in your family.

Your kindness to me is so appreciated. Even when I don't make contact for ages, you forgive me. Things have been a bit strange here lately, so sometimes I can barely get a post done, but I'm still here :))

much love from me...
