I truly am trying my hardest to delve into my hoard
and actually USE
some of the wonderful, good things that
I've collected over the years!
A prime example.
This simple lavender sachet.
Featuring my most favorite toile fabric EVER....
beautiful, expensive net lace...
and accented by a wonderful, old pocketwatch face!
I've used a sweet, old pearl to fasten it to the sachet
and a vintage button on the back (not seen) to
help secure it into place.
Using the good stuff is always, always the best.
I can't take it with me, right???
I've added it to my Etsy shop too!
Wishing you a most beautiful weekend dear friends ~
hugs and love,
hugs and love,

So beautiful:) Can't wait to receive my purchases! Have a blessed day dear Dawn, HUGS!
It's beautiful, Dawn! I think a lot of us hoard the "good stuff", but then you have to stop and think what are we saving it for? I think you definitely put it to good use!
Just beautiful
Hugs
Dawn, I know by heart, how difficult it can be ,to use the best of the best ,we have collected.. but you are right.....we can`t take it with us !!
This is a stunning piece of most beautiful lavender pillow, using exquisite materials.
I wish you a lovely sunday, and sends you love and hugs.

Like the old TV ad said ~ "Because I'm worth it!!!"
This is so pretty. I too have trouble using the "good stuff".
My stash just keeps getting deeper.
I need to take a page from your book. How many "good" things did my mother/grandmother's never use??
Beautiful

How right you are, Dawn--being able to admire your "good stuff", whether on display or tucked in a drawer or a basket, pales into comparison to using it to create something gorgeous that will bring joy to *someone else*. (But it still stings just a bit, I know!)
And that is indeed one gorgeous sachet.♥ xoxo
It is beautiful Dawn! I was not surprised to click over to your shop and find it already sold. :)
I too have trouble using up the fabulous lace etc, but am slowing letting it go because you are right! We can't take it with us and I KNOW my kids don't want it.
Hugs~
