I finally finished these sweet little snowmen ornaments that I started last week!
Each one has his very own personality...
I think these will be the last of the Christmas creations this year ~
I've so enjoyed making what I have though!
These angels are now in my Etsy shop and will ship out ASAP Priority mail in the US ~
Is it funny that I had to follow my very own tutorial to make these sweeties?!
No matter how hard I try, I can't seem to escape the waves of sadness
that have swept over me this past weekend...
my thoughts and prayers are with each and every person affected
by the terrible tragedy that took place at Sandy Hook Elementary.
Max Lucado posted a beautiful prayer on his blog I would love to share with you:
Wishing you a beautiful Monday dear friends,
hugs and love ~
Dawn

Oh the snowmen are so cute...love that YOU had to go back and check your tutorial out.
I know what you mean about waves of sadness, I find myself tearing up several times a day. My heart goes out to everyone touched by this mad man.
SO CUTE! Definately right - made me smile!!
Dawn, thank you so much for that link. And thank you so much for keeping your cheery side up. These are dark days and we need the light and cheer you bring.
Love those cutiepie ornaments:) I too am having so much sadness in my heart for the tragic shooting in Newtown:( BLESSINGS and HUGS coming your way dear Dawn, HUGS!
Oh my goodness - they are the cutest things ever! And yes, my heart is aching too for those poor babies in CT. My boys are 5 and 7 so it really hits home for me.

They are the cutest snowmen ever. I just love them. I know how you feel, that tragic shooting is beyond comprehension.
Your little snowmen are sure a day brightener...the world needs to be a bit brighter these days! I was an Elementary School Secretary for almost 20 years, I just cannot imagine what they went through and my heart breaks for them and those little babies and all their families! There still are Hero's out there!! Bless their hearts!
Such creative ornaments Dawn!! I know what you mean about the waves of sadness. When my children were young there was Columbine. For weeks I cried and was afraid to send my children to school. I certainly feel blessed that my children are still enjoying life on this earth. It is so hard to understand someone's cruel act.
So darn cute! I bought this tute from you too... a couple of years ago. I made two little heads while I was whipping up birdies... I had the hardest time making my cheeks look like yours... And, your tutorial was GREAT. I have finished heads and no foo-foo.. Thinking I'll do something with them after Christmas. Too many darn irons in the fire. :-)
Huggies!

And, I so agree about the sadness... everything I see that tickles me and makes my heart happy immediately turns to sadness. My heart is so broken for those families. I think it has affected so many, but especially moms. I cannot even begin to imagine their pain. God bless all of them... and give them peace and comfort only He can give.
xoxo
Hello Dawn,
Your snowmen are the cutest. Everything you create is beautiful and I love your blog.
Yes, it has been a sad week with the loss of those beautiful children. May God give their love ones peace and love.
Hugs.

Your little snowmen are sooo adorable, Dawn! The tinsel on their hats adds such a sweet touch... you don't leave anything to chance, do you?!♥
Like everyone else, I can't stop thinking about those poor little babies (and the adults at the school) and the anguished families they left behind. I hope that somehow the pain and outrage felt all over the country will be channeled in ways that will prevent another such tragedy from happening ever again.
