My little forest...

I finished my sweet Christmas trees!!
Each one is just a tad larger than the last ~
The sugar dishes are quite tarnished but I love them that way.

By adding a few old pearls, fragments of vintage jewelry,
beautiful vintage buttons and of course...seam binding,
they're now ready to celebrate Christmas!

The little one is now sold but the other are now listed in my Etsy shop!!

I hope you have a wonderful Friday dear friends,
hugs and love,
Dawn

Those little trees look so charming in those old silver plate creamer/sugars. I've been collecting them for some time now too, love the old look. Haven't been able to find any good prices on the bottle brush trees, maybe I'll be lucky this year after Christmas!

Oh Dawn
I adore the little brush trees - the colour you've used to paint them is perfect.
They look so pretty all doo-daahed up with pearls and seam binding, sitting in their little silver nests.

What a great idea!! I have a huge old star rhinestone brooch. Will have to put it on the top of my little Christmas tree and decorate it with red streamers!!!

I'm so glad you are feeling better and back to doing what you love. Your Christmas trees are lovely - who knew tarnished silver could look so good! I made some of the mittens from your tutorial. They look perfect on my Victorian Christmas tree! Have a wonderful weekend and God bless you. Hugs, Terri

These are so beautiful! I have a couple similar trees that I picked up at an antique store a few years back, and I leave them out all year because I love them so much!
