A safe haven ~

We had a wonderful, relaxing weekend at the farmhouse...how about you?
It was rainy, windy and cold but we stayed comfy and cozy inside.
I never want to take that for granted you know....
having a warm, cozy home to enjoy with my family.

It's easy to sit and think of all that you wish for...something larger or even fancier ~
but what is truly important is that we have a haven from the outside world.
A place where we can relax and know we are loved and protected.
Nothing more, nothing less.

The internet, Pinterest, blogs, television....etc. have a tendency to make us think
of all the things we DON'T have.
But we simply need to remember all that we DO have ~
and how blessed we really are.

I've shared a few repeat scans with you below....
just in case you didn't catch them before :)

I hope you are staying warm and cozy this February Monday!!!
Thank you always for visiting me ~ you I love that you do!

Have a beautiful Monday dear friends,
hugs and love,
Dawn

Goodmorning dear Dawn-
here I woke up to a beautiful sunshine,-from my window I can watch a green field, with spots of snow, still there- I`m sitting here, writing you, with this sight ,in front of me,--my cup of tea , and your beautiful photoes and thoughts ,- in my cosy warm home. And all this makes me feel blessed every day, and so happy for my life.
Sweetest friend ,we are so blessed both-you are right, and don`t NEED all the temptations from out there in the world :-)
Dearest precious Dawn , have a most beautiful monday ,you ,too.
Love and hugs, Dorthe

Hi Dawn, Your post this morning reminded me of this quote I have near my desk..."Do not spoil what you have by desiring what you have not, remember what you have now was once among the things you only hoped for." This is so true in my life, and I know that so many dreams have come true for you too. We are surely blessed. Love, Penny

Hello, sweet Dawn!

I LOVE that bird feeder idea! And I'm so thankful for what I have. I think it's the attitude of gratitude that makes all the difference!

Darling images Dawn. Thank you so much for your sharing heart.
I so agree with you about being grateful for all we have. I really do believe I am a lucky, lucky girl. Sometime the 'wants' get me, but I am so thankful to the Lord for all I have. I agree that just having a cozy home that shelters us and those we love is a great blessing.
sending love...

Ah, yes, you are so right about seeing all those "things" that are out there in the infinite web world, and how those things can affect us. I always pray to never forget to be grateful for what is in my own world, and how nothing would be the same if any part of my small world went missing. Thank you for being you, Dawn! Have a good evening!
