A Mother's Love
Author Unknown
There are times when only a Mother's love
Can understand our tears,
Can soothe our disappoints
And calm all of our fears.
Can understand our tears,
Can soothe our disappoints
And calm all of our fears.
There are times when only a Mother's love
Can share the joy we feel
When something we've dreamed about
Quite suddenly is real.
Can share the joy we feel
When something we've dreamed about
Quite suddenly is real.
There are times when only a Mother's faith
Can help us on life's way
And inspire in us the confidence
We need from day to day.
Can help us on life's way
And inspire in us the confidence
We need from day to day.
For a Mother's heart and a Mother's faith
And a Mother's steadfast love
Were fashioned by the Angels
And sent from God above.
And a Mother's steadfast love
Were fashioned by the Angels
And sent from God above.
I wanted to share just a few images that I've collected over the years
that would be perfect for a Mother's Day card!!
Being the mother to our five sons has truly been the most important,
hard and wonderful thing I've ever done and continue to do.
If I do nothing else in this lifetime...
this alone has been such a joy and honor to me.
I hope you have a wonderful Monday precious friends!
hugs and love,
Dawn

Dawn, you always find the loveliest, most heart-warming images and verses. Your blog is so warm and welcoming because of it. If it's not in the heart, it doesn't show on the blog. Yours is like a welcome mat with a hot cup of tea waiting inside.
Hugs!!
Diane
Beautiful post Dawn,
There is nothing on Earth like a Mother's love. I never understood it until I was blessed with my babies. Mothers Day is always a day of mixed feelings for me, as that is the day I lost my own Mommy 3 years ago. What I would give for another day with her. A day when we could share the love & laughter of my sweet babies. Lisa
Dawn - such a beautiful verse and the pictures are lovely as well. A very special tribute - thank you for always sharing~~~
