Just a few pretty things...

So what do you post about
when you've had your sweetie-pie granddaughter
over for the past three days??

You post a few pretty things...

The beautiful room below is a magazine page I scanned ages ago ~
I've always wanted to drape fabric from the ceiling like this...
and the bunched up botanicals make me swoon.
And the column in the corner....EEEK!

Someone needed a vanilla album page
for their artwork and here's one I'd scanned in and shared earlier too.
(Please forgive me for forgetting who it was!)

I love this gorgeous old print I scanned a while back too....

Remember when I piled tons of gorgeous old lace on my scanner?
Feel free to click to enlarge these and save to your own computer...

So. Do you think I love sweet, old baby cabinet cards??
(grab them if you haven't already)

A Little News About Town:

Even when I haven't done or made anything at all...
I always want to say hello...
and that I hope you have a wonderful day!!!

And....in your post below...your peat pot turned out so sweet! I'm sorry I missed this yesterday. I sent my hubby to W-M to look for them and not a one was to be found. Must try the Agway next. Very inspiring post!

Hi dearest Dawn,
Isn't it funny how one little tiny body (grandchild) seems like ten. I have been spending a great deal of time with the little ones too and can't seem to get a thing done when they are here. It is always so much fun, but I do have to say that when they go home I sit and sigh and catch my breath a little.

I have been missing some great posts here at your place while I have been gone. You always share the loveliest things. I had to laugh when I saw your magazine page. I have the same one in my accordian file of favorite rooms. Do you think maybe we are twins separated at birth?
hugs to you this Saturday!

Hello to you, too! I hope you're having a good weekend--I know what you mean about having your granddaughter with you for 3 days--a wonderful gift, but I know why most women have their babies when they are young. I've been caring for 4 of my grandchildren this past week, not all at once, but I just don't have as much energy as I did when I was young, unfortunately--I haven't been able to do any art, but have enjoyed the kids. They are wonderful, but, boy am I tired!!!!!
