Blog rolls aren't updating so well this morning... Just finding you and you posted five hours ago!
Sounds like a fun day that will be good on so many levels. That last photo is so cute. The little guy looks very agreeable and the little girl looks totally upset. Ha! Perhaps the sun was in her eyes.
Thanks so very much for the images - especially the French ones. I'm working on a project right now and could use all things French so this was perfect timing! Merci
I hadn't heard that term - "going junking" for 3 decades! We lived in Heidleberg, Germany from 1984-1987 and would go junking!! Ohhh the things that the Germans would throw out quickly would become our treasures!! "Those were the days my friend. . . " Have a great time!!
Hi there! Whenever I am having an especially difficult time, I find the most peaceful spot to rest: your blog. I make a lot of art pieces that I share with dear friends, inspired by or incorporating your shared images. However, since you changed the blog format, I haven't been able to save the images (either with a simple copy, or via the click and save method). Could you please give me a quick reminder of the steps (maybe I'm just repeating and repeating - or leaving out and leaving out! - the same steps inadvertently. You posted such delightful text and images in the past few days, and I found a bunch of printable fabric sheets at the thrift store! Help, please...
My name is Dawn Edmonson. I'm a wife for 42 years to the same wonderful man, mother to five amazing sons ranging in age from 40 to 25 years old and grandmother to three precious girls and two sweet boys.
I love to create one-of-a-kind artwork to sell in my Etsy shop. I enjoy keeping up with my blog and am amazed at the inspiration I get from others blogs and sweet comments that are left for me. I am drawn to all things old, with plenty of character and enjoy using small, antique trinkets in my artwork. Being able to create is truly my bliss.
