Yummy good stuff.....

Lisa and I are kindred spirits.
We can't help it but we are!!
But that's what blogging will do for you....
bring kindred spirits together.
We were talking on the phone the other day and she pulled out
an old Home Companion mag and started talking about it
Well OF COURSE, I had the exact same issue!!
Oct/Nov 2003
Good grief girls, I loved this magazine so much...
why, just why is it gone????

Well she talked about Robin Brown's (Magnolia Pearl) feature.
It's absolutely beautiful.
I had to scan the pages in to share with you!
I know you will agree....

Lovely, right????
This was almost TEN years ago!
But still...still so beautiful.
Classic is classic.
It never leaves.
It never goes out of style.
It's not trendy.
It's always wonderful...ALWAYS!

I lied about my iPhone cases I'm working on.
I only have seven but they are going to be wonderful...
just wait.

Wishing you a beautiful Thursday precious friends,
hugs and love,
Dawn

Oh, my! I just looked at this very same feature yesterday! I too belong to the magazine boarders, anon. Thanks so much, sweet friend, for the visit. It was a happy surprise to see you had visited. I hope you are so good, too! And enjoying being a grandmama like I am. Xoxo Lidy

You are SO LUCKY that that magazine was ever sold in your big country, -here in little Denmark, I never knew there was such a mag as :Home Compagnion- it is so wonderful photoes from a fantastic home, -fhotoes shown from Robin`s home, now, shows even more fantastic style!
Thankyou my dear Dawn for copying this, I have stables of old mags, too :-)
Love to you, and hugs.

Really? Ten years ago? They fit in so well with what is going on today in decor, Dawn. What a great magazine, I miss it, too. I did read on her blog a few months ago that there was talk about bringing it back. I really hope they follow through on that. We should get a petition together!

Love that timeless look and for sure I was born in the wrong era, I have always known that from a very young age though. I love warm rich colors with a touch of shabby, great post Dawn! Hugs marilou

Isn't it amazing about timeless looks? How they never grow old.

The good ones always disappear too soon. I was a total fan of that magazine too. Timeless Classic...

Dawn, That was one of my favorites too! I sure miss MEHC! I had thought it might come back, but not yet. I subscribe to ME's newsletter, which you can find on her blog, http://maryengelbreit.com/. It helps to ease the pain...
So I'm thinking of bundling up some of my magazines and selling them in my resale shop (which has yet to open), but I don't know which ones I can part with!
Have an inspiring weekend...
Hugs, Sherry

Oh yeah baby! Great minds Hoard alike! The only thing better than having years if inspiration in my closet is having a friend to share it with.

Very similar to a photo I have of "my perfect living room." I must say that my perfect living room is a long way from what I have. =D
