Book love....

I can't help myself, I love them!
Books, that is.
But mostly books that inspire my artwork, or in this case
organizing my studio.
I'd like to think I'm organized but in the end,
I don't think I am!
We could always be better, right??

Lisa told me that I would love this one and she was SO RIGHT!
I've taken a ton of pics to share with you,
and yes many are blurry, and not the best
but this is just to show you what's inside
and show you that you will love it too!!!

Enjoy ~

So.
What do you think???
Wonderful, huh????
And this is just a fraction of it...
I still need to sit down and really pour over it ~

Wishing you, my precious friends, a beautiful Thursday!!!!
hugs and love,
Dawn

It would be great to have that much room to be orderly!!! Ha. I have added about all the shelving I can put in my craft spot...and I still have things piled here and there.. much to my husband's dismay. And, my sewing room isn't much better, but I COULD make better use of the storage there!!!
Maybe it will spur some ideas.. I might have to get that book myself.
Thanks for the great pictures.

That books looks wonderful, Dawn! I don't have that one ~ I have two of the Where Women Create books that show studio spaces. I'm going to pull them down and look through them again this weekend. I think this organizing one will be going on my Amazon list though!

I think that you are like the bird in the poem building your nest. You know what else I think? I think that if I put the short end of my table against the wall instead of the long end as I saw in one of those photos, I'll have more room. Yup. Must consider that.

I will have to go to Amazon right now...thank you so much. I love books like this.

What a sweet poem, Dawn.

Dawn, I also purchased this book...about a month ago and also from amazon. It's GREAT!!! I'm fairly good at organizing, but reading this book makes me want to do it more often and better. Then, of course, there are those studios that I can never match, but love to see.
Fantastic!! And, inspirational, thanks to Jo Packham. And, let me say, I get my daily dose of inspiration from YOUR blog...just love it. THANKS, pat

I was blessed to meet Jo Packham and Jen O'Conner and all the Gang at Earth Angels recently. Jo is the loveliest woman! She signed the book for me too. I'm on page 128! I so enjoyed the book. LOTS of great ideas.

Hi dawn--- Thanks for sharing a glimpse of this book. Today is my birthday and now i know what I'm going to treat myself to...this book! Maybe some of the artists' organizational skills will rub off on me...I am in dire need! Stacks and piles surround me, and they just keep getting bigger and bigger!

Dawn! You shared the little birdy poem!!!! Awww...

I'm dying to go the direction of Tim Holtz when it comes to organizing. I need to be able to see everything! I am, quite possibly, the most unorganized creature on Earth. Enjoy your book! xo

I don't know when they got into my room and photographed but honestly I'm shocked to be published...LOL But seriously that's more or less how I keep my sewing/craft room. I can't stand not being organised and it makes creating a quicker process and a MUCH quicker way to tidy as everything has it's place. Thanks for sharing. I haven't visited you for a while now.
