I love this sweet girl....for you ~
I finished the flea bag!!
It's so wonderful to take an old, forgotten handbag
and give it a new life ~
I used Fabri-Tac glue on all of the lace and
hand sewed the rest on.
You know I had to get a watch face worked in....
The strap (long enough to drape across your chest) is sewn onto the back
easy to open and close to pull cash out a pay for your found treasures....
I hope you love it Susan!
I also finished making a vintage looking bear for my sweet friend Pam...
she brought me the bear and I simply dressed her up!

Now I've got to get busy cleaning up this studio!!
I'm sure no one wants to see all my mess :)

Dawn, there can NEVER be enough lace, trim, buttons and ribbons, etc. on a woman's purse. The bear too is dress well enough to wear it now as well.

Dawn... you have very busy creating... Love the purse... It is somewhat cool this morning and feels really good for change... We have had such a unusal spring and summer... Our area is struggling but surviving....
Gorgeous! I love all that lace on the purse - and your bear is so sweet. When I had my crafting business I rescued bears from garage sales in much the same way. Perhaps I'll post a couple from that long ago and far away day.

The bag turned out beautifully, Dawn! I am loving the bear, though! I have bunnies that need some new outfits and I've been trying to figure out how to do it without actually taking apart the dresses made for them and trying to do my own. I was thinking maybe baby dresses.
