Beautiful angels for you ~
Cicely Mary Barker
I found a few treasures last week....I had to share them with you ~
One is the great old dictionary for five bucks..and you KNOW I love it!
The three canvas fans? No, not my style but for $1.00 each
I can gesso over them and turn them into something I DO love ~
I always look at the price first and then
try to figure out if I can transform it!

Thank you for the sweet angels! And as for your goodies I think the rusty things are my favorite but, like you I have a thing for baby shoes & those are pretty darn cute! Treasure hunting is so much fun! I just finished my last gift. Tied the knot in the velvet rose that I sewed onto a hat for a friend. Happy to get that last package wrapped. Are you ready? Hope you are enjoying this blessed season. Thank you for all you do for us! HUGS! Charlene
I've never seen someone GIVE so much all of the time! You are an angel!
Hi Dawn, well I'm just loving those dictionary graphics. They are amazing! What a find, and all the other goodies are wonderful, but then you can take something and turn it into "magic"!
I came by to wish you a personal very Merry Christmas, Dawn. Enjoy your wonderful family and that sweet little Clara!
hugs and Christmas blessings,
Debra
What lovely finds, Dawn. The dictionary is my personal favorite!

Hi Dawn. I hope Clara's getting better each day. Love the dictionary illustrations and the ornamental pieces. I wish I could find some cute old baby shoes. Because of you I now look at baby shoes in every thrift store I go to. LOL. Thank you for sharing the giveaway, because winner or not I can see that I found a new blog that I'll really enjoy.
Blessing to you sweet friend. Hugs..Tracy :)

You found some amazing treasures again, they are all wonderful, but my favourites are probably the rusty ornamental things...... or perhaps the little bobbins, they are so cute.
Wishing you and your loved ones a very Happy Christmas and a New Year which is everything you want it to be.
I love your treasures. I am partial to the beat up bread tin....it's so charming and at one time it was loved by someone.
Of course, I love all your other goodies as well.
Don't you just love it when you have a day of good finds.
~~hugs~~

Beautiful treasures.....
I can't bear to cut into the colored graphics of a dictionary like that and I know you feel the same so I'm waiting to see what you do with it! Thanks for noticing my blog. I love doing the Bibles--so fun. Just spray each page with water, scrunch, straighten slightly and let dry. That's all. It takes a while but the outcome is stupendous. Off to food shop and wrap presents for my 13 grandchildren now. We're having a BIG Christmas at my in-laws house and they are very brave. Have a very merry Christmas and prosperous New Year. Love, Sally
That dictionary was such a great find, with the colored botanical etc. inside....also, I love the idea of adding a "foot" to the glass jars. It really transforms them, don't you think? Thanks for all of the inspiration, not just from your creations but from others as well.
Delicious finds! I can't wait to hop over and check out those book sculptures, they look very interesting. I hope your eve before Christmas Eve is blessed!

You must have a vintage Angel...you find so many really special little treasures. I like the baby shoes too, they are really sweet...do you ever wonder who grew out of them...just a thought.
Merry Christmas Dear Dawn, Thank you for all the sharing. I am never disappointed when I come to visit you. Hugs, Mary
Dawn, I don't know where you are getting all of these low priced wonderful goodies, but you have to take me there when we get together next year???? The very best wishes for a Merry Christmas to you and yours.
Loves & Hugs, QueenMarcy
Oh, such pretties, thank you sweet Dawn!
That is the cutest little bread tin, you're right. LOL, I'm chuckling at the thought of you on Hoarders! I love that show, does that make me warped and twisted?
I just want you to know that I give thanks for the gift of your friendship this year, Dawn.
Wishing you and yours a most blessed and Merry Christmas!
Anne
I love the bible idea. It is so pretty!! The finding the right scripture "by chance" is always the best part!
Hugs,
Sheila
Dawn, I have to laugh! What would we creatives do without rusty old stuff and acid-eaten books and worn baby shoes, etc.! Just think what we're doing to save the environment and inspire and have joy in creating! I can see exactly why your eyes went to those charming baby shoes! And the inside of the dictionary is a treasure trove!! I just know we are going to see those pages in your assemblages! And, of course, the rusty what-nots too!
Wishing you and your family a Blessed Christmas dear friend whom I'd never have met without the internet and blogging. May you have as much joy as you have brought to me each time I visit with you and each time I look at the little baby fairy jar I won from you.
God bless,
Diane
