Making progress...

Since "Where Bloggers Create" is coming up this next Friday,
I decided it was time for a MAJOR overhaul of my studio.
Dusting...(where in the world does that stuff come from???)
sorting...tossing out dried up glue...dried up paint...and of course
a little rearranging was in order.

Here are a few sneak peeks, but hopefully when I take the pics for the
shindig Friday, everything will be ready to see!!!

I always have company when in my studio...Thelma was overseeing the project here!

I am so in love with this baby, is that normal for a fifty year old woman? :)

I'd been hoarding (hiding) this jar forever because my husband and I bought it to sell,
but I loved it so much I just couldn't part with it!
I dusted it off and filled it with vanilla buttons....
it is larger than a bowling ball!!!

I just wanted to share a little bit of what I'd done...
finally moving things so I can SEE my fabrics I love so ~

There will be TONS of photos on Friday's post ~ so stay tuned dear friends!

Wishing you a blessed and beautiful Sunday,
hugs and love,
Dawn

I agree with Cyn. Everyone must be fluffing their creative nests for the big reveal over with Karen - Where bloggers create.. I'm gonna hire my 10 and 13 year old nephew's to help me get things done. I almost gave up on joining until my two little saviors agreed to help. Enjoy all of your fluffing and I can't wait to see your beautiful fabrics. Take care.

The photos are the best part, Dawn! I can't wait to see yours. Love the jar with the buttons. I drafted my post last week in Live Writer and scheduled it in Blogger the other day. Otherwise, I keep adding to it or deleting sentences. Best just to leave it alone now! : ) I will probably spend the whole day going through everyones studio posts.

You always make me laugh, I love that. I'm making progress, too. I seriously hurt from yesterday's cleaning of the studio.

I cannot wait to see your final result, Dawn. Your studio makes me drool. Hoard away sister, you have beautiful finds.

Love your sweet Thelma, my dear Dawn- I would love being in your beautiful room ,as she does, making you company whenever you create or like today ,-makes more pretty for the coming event.
Your little dresses hanging are so very cute, and: LOVE, must be the word for that big jar filled with lovely buttons- ofcourse you could not part with it!
And I can tell you, that when Mathilde has been her, and played with dolls, I alwayes dress them proberly, and puts then in bed ,so they can feel more comfortably !!!!! is that normal for someone more than 10 years older than you, sweetie ??? Oh my goodnes , maybe we are not normal, but we are having a wonderful life with our passions, don`t you think?
Thankyou for your so lovely comment Dawn, I treasure you and our friendship so much- and wish we could be closer in miles, as well.
LOVE and husg, Dorthe

I am doing the same Dawn. I pulled everything out and I am in a mess. I already see a difference though. I have baskets that look like yours. I have way to many things. I wish I had that big jar of buttons though!!!

Dawn, Now about that baby doll....define 'normal.' I'm seventeen years older than you and I say if you love that doll...(and I do too!)...then, that's normal. I also love just about everything else in your creative space. Between the two of us, I think we can place more items per square inch than most folks. Don't you just love it? As I've told you before...you are an inspiration!! pat

Dawn, I never call it "dusting" anymore. I prefer to say i am rearranging the dust instead, since it seems to move around and never leave. I have always been a fan of yours, and love when you share these glimpses into your home and life. Very inspiring. Currently we are "homeless". We are staying with family and looking for our next home. I love where bloggers create and look forward to seeing all the wonderful spaces.

Progress...and I, too, have always wondered about dust. Dusting is a never-ending chore. Well, all chores are never-ending. Blast.
