Sweet friend ~

I had to post and share with you some sweetness. Don't we need more sweetness in our lives?? Karin of Meandering Travels of Mindless Thoughts came to visit me Friday at the store and brought me another wonderful homemade pound cake that tastes heavenly!!

She's always so thoughtful and sweet . . . exactly what we each need in our day to day lives. Sometimes just holding a door open for someone can be a kindness you can do for another person. I've come to realize as I mature that people crave kindness and need it. They need sweetness in their lives to thrive. And the more sweet they can receive, the more sweetness they can pay forward. Because, we all know how good it feels to be kind. It's not just beneficial for the recipient but for the giver as well.

A special request ~

Sweet Nita of Red Tin Heart has a special request on her blog. Her husband has been injured in an accident at work and it has paralyzed him from the neck down. Their lives have been turned upside down this past week. His spirits are very low right now as he has realized what has happened to him.
