Antique lace, vintage buttons and plenty of pockets for treasures!

I know you remember me starting this project...
well, I FINALLY finished it this weekend!

A sweet friend purchased it a few weeks ago
and said she wasn't in a hurry to receive it.
Well, with my parents coming for the week of Thanksgiving,
I definitely put off finishing her treasure organizer.

I have to say, that I'm so pleased with how it turned out!!!
Of course, how can you go wrong with vintage lace and buttons???
I so hope she loves it!

Plus, I just have to share a few photos of our precious grandbabies!!
Their mama posted these pics of Clara and Murray today on Facebook
and I thought they were so sweet!

Wishing you a wonderful Monday dear friends!!!

hugs and love,
Dawn

Thank you so much for the opportunity to buy the seam binding at such a great savings. I received my package today. I am so excited to use it. I've been following your blog because I love your ideas and projects. I admire your artistic eye and ability to create beautiful items. I'm usually behind the scenes but this time I needed to leave a comment. Again, thank you for so much inspiration.

your organizer is incredible....every detail is just....perfect! the antique laces you chose and the buttons and the background fabric. honestly, if this were mine (huge lust here) i would hang it out where everyone could see it. ask her for a picture once she puts in all her treasures. i'd love to see what she does with it. beautiful work here....the sewing so meticulous. the entire thing hangs straight and proud. that would never happen if it was me doing the sewing. it really is very, very lovely.

I just now found your site and this is the first thing I see... stuuunning, I can't wait to explore more! Can I ask what the fabric is? I would guess linen, but it looks more like muslin. I too would love to see the final use of this gorgeous project, I hope your friend will provide a photo. Where did you purchase the beautiful laces? I can no longer drive and am always on the lookout for great sites for purchasing fabrics, trims, etc. Thank you for sharing this stunning project, I will truly enjoy exploring your website.
