Old baby shoes, sparkly birds & pure inspiration ~

Perfection. That's what these are to me, absolute perfection! My sweet friend Marcy saw them in an antique store and thought of me....can you believe that??! As I opened my door this afternoon, there was a little box placed right beside the front door mat....and these were the treasures inside ~ crumpled, stained, precious baby shoes! Thank you so very much Marcy, your generous heart is amazing and you SO know me!!!!

Look at the card Marcy enclosed with her gift ~ BEAUTIFUL!!

You ARE the Queen girl!!
Drop by her blog and see all of the amazing things she's been creating lately ~ from beautiful jewelry to gorgeous art quilts!!

And look who's finished!!! My paper clay bird ornament ~
I just love the way it turned out....
that Martha ultra fine clear glitter makes anything look beautiful!
He's already in my shoppe too ~

SOLD ~ Thank you so much!!

Oh, and somebody else is in the works!!!
He's kinda chubby :) but I like him that way!

And now for some inspiration....
Patina Green has been at it again,
I look at their recent show photos and just DROOL!!!
They have such a knack for display
and their items are always so wonderful ~

And I have found a GREAT blog!!!
Oxidized Laces ~ SO much inspiration ~

Happy December sweet friends,

Glad you liked the baby shoes, Dawn! I knew you would. Your birdie is precious, but of course. Those French blogs were gorgeous eye candy - wow, I could surf those all day (too bad I have to work for a living).

I'm normally somewhat of a lurker, but I just had to comment on those fabulous baby shoes. Everytime I go to a flea market, I am bowled over by little old shoes. It's the kind of thing that makes me think of my dad. He would see an old pair of shoes and say "well Babe, what in thee world do you want with an old pair of shoes?". Yep, one man's trash is truly another's treasure.

Your blog is just so soft and pretty.

If you have a spare moment, stop by my blog. I'm having a give-away from some of my art prints.

Thanks:
Kim
