Speckled eggs bring thoughts of Spring ~

I printed these beautiful antique images
onto old sheet music a long time ago...
you probably even remember seeing them in a few of my projects!

I thought I'd offer them to you again ~
don't the eggs remind you of Spring??

How do you save them?
Simply left click on the image...
then you can probably left click it again to bring
it up to it's full size.
Next, right click on the largest size and a tiny menu
will pop up. While holding down the button
slide down and select "Save Image As" or
something that sounds similar.
Then you simply find a folder on your
computer to save it in!
Just remember the name of the folder so
you can find it again if you'd like to print it :)

We're still knee deep in wonderful orders for these speckled eggs!!
If you have a shop and would like wholesale pricing, simply email me....
or if you would like to order retail, please let me know too!

A Light exists in Spring
Not present on the Year
At any other period —
When March is scarcely here

A Color stands abroad
On Solitary Fields
That Science cannot overtake
But Human Nature feels.

It waits upon the Lawn,
It shows the furthest Tree
Upon the furthest Slope you know
It almost speaks to you.

Then as Horizons step
Or Noons report away
Without the Formula of sound
It passes and we stay —

A quality of loss
Affecting our Content
As Trade had suddenly encroached
Upon a Sacrament.

We're already have buds pop out on our shrubbery and
even have a few daffodils blooming!!!
It's coming soon :)

Wishing you a great Tuesday sweet friends,
hugs and love,
Dawn

I know it's not Spring quite yet ~

But this IS the month it officially arrives!!
Just twenty more days....March 20th ~

We had a beautiful weekend here in Georgia.
Sunny, brilliant blue skies and teeny, tiny buds are showing
their leaves in our shrubs.

I have a few images to share with you today.
Some I may have already given you,
but they are beautiful to me...
and also several Spring poems ~
(I'm sorry these aren't the most crisp images but
when printed out smaller they should look fine)

To Spring

William Blake

O thou with dewy locks, who lookest down
Through the clear windows of the morning, turn
Thine angel eyes upon our western isle,
Which in full choir hails thy approach, O Spring!

The hills tell one another, and the listening
Valleys hear; all our longing eyes are turn’d
Up to thy bright pavilions: issue forth
And let thy holy feet visit our clime!

Come o’er the eastern hills, and let our winds
Kiss thy perfumèd garments; let us taste
Thy morn and evening breath; scatter thy pearls
Upon our lovesick land that mourns for thee.

O deck her forth with thy fair fingers; pour
Thy soft kisses on her bosom; and put
Thy golden crown upon her languish’d head,
Whose modest tresses are bound up for thee.

Spring Quiet

Christina Rossetti

Gone were but the Winter,
Come were but the Spring,
I would go to a covert
Where the birds sing.

Where in the whitethom
Singeth a thrush,
And a robin sings
In the holly-bush.

Full of fresh scents
Are the budding boughs
Arching high over
A cool green house:

Full of sweet scents,
And whispering air
Which sayeth softly:
“We spread no snare;

“Here dwell in safety,
Here dwell alone,
With a clear stream
And a mossy stone.

“Here the sun shineth
Most shadily;
Here is heard an echo
Of the far sea,
Though far off it be.”
