An update, a peek and an image ~

Well, Emily's due date has come and gone ~ and little Clara is still snugged up inside! So we'll see what happens in the next few days. You all are so very sweet, just waiting right along with me!! I promise I'll keep you posted.... the beautiful image below is one of my very favorites ~

I worked more in the studio today, mostly loading in things and then finally the rest of the furnitre. I still have one more big fabric shelf that will stand right next to the refrigerator. I hope all the mess doesn't scare you but I had to play with the furniture first to figure out what I liked. Now I can start loading the shelves back up!!

I've collected vintage baby dresses for ages. Some have stains, some are perfect. I love this spiral rack to display them on. They are a bit of a mess right now but I wanted to show you how sweet they were. Clara may have to wear a few for me!

How precious is this little thing? It's a thin cotton diaper shirt....in the palest shade of yellow ever.

Today is our 28th wedding anniversary!! How in the world has that much time passed? I'm so very thankful for my husband ~ He's a wonderful husband, friend and father to our boys....I love you honey!

The little bird girl ~

I finished my altered baby dress!! I added the two pockets that I had shown earlier and a tiny pocket at the top just for found feathers! The little egg charm hangs from a rustic hanger that I made from a twig and twisted wire. A handmade tag with speckled eggs, a twig and birch bark are in one pocket and a little nest is in the other. I love the way it turned out!! It's not a dress to be worn though, just displayed....I do have a few little dresses I want to make for Clara though! You could even tuck in a few more nature finds!!
