We never seem to have enough time for the out of the way spots but Paris on Ponce will definitely be on my list for the next time.
I love the restaurant name...too funny and slightly irreverant.
We are from Arkansas but I moved to Kentucky when she left for ~Nancy~https://www.blogger.com/profile/13165088832313285617noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-795775338942020284.post-71111879027241221892008-01-28T22:51:00.000-05:002008-01-28T22:51:00.000-05:00Oh, I love cemeteries. We called it the "We see dead people tour". We were hunting for my great-great-grandfather's resting place. It took us awhile and lots of hunting but we found it and it was so beautiful.Suzannehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06475380451527801666noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-795775338942020284.post-49075395385118830932008-01-28T21:24:00.000-05:002008-01-28T21:24:00.000-05:00This is a different but interesting kind of field ...This is a different but interesting kind of field trip--thanks for sharing!
TaraTarahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16060366331794781160noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-795775338942020284.post-70825613745697873572008-01-28T21:05:00.000-05:002008-01-28T21:05:00.000-05:00Dawn, thank you for sharing these cemetery photos....Dawn, thank you for sharing these cemetery photos. I love cemeteries and exploring the really old headstones. I particularly love the old cemeteries in New Orleans ( pre-Katrina) I think sculptures make the most beautiful black and white photo's.
Lisa & AlfieLisa & Alfiehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11537412035331762952noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-795775338942020284.post-73599281454094523622008-01-28T15:21:00.000-05:002008-01-28T15:21:00.000-05:00Oh Dawn, thank you for sharing those beautiful pho...Oh Dawn, thank you for sharing those beautiful photos. Every trip we take we have to stop, soak up a little history and my daughter and I take photos and some times even rubbings of the tombstones. Last year when we were in Savannah we spent an entire afternoon in a graveyard. No so creepy or weird, I grew up living across the street from Sandyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01705378309728984562noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-795775338942020284.post-32822206594746453662008-01-28T13:24:00.000-05:002008-01-28T13:24:00.000-05:00Dawn,I love the field trip pictures! We have a beautiful one near are home and I used to go and make engravings on paper of the angels carved on some of the tombs. I hope that doesn't sound strange.
