What we take for granted ~

We really do take so much for granted in our lives.
It seems it's not until these gifts are in jeopardy
that we realize how important
a certain "gift" in our life is.
One of these precious gifts?
Our health.

It's been a pretty bad week over here...
my diverticulitis has reared it's ugly head and
it has been a bout to be reckoned with!

It all started Monday and has yet to be better.
I did spend the entire day Thursday at the Urgent Care center
worried that I might need surgery but thankfully,
after TONS of tests, I don't.

It seems that after I hit 50 I've just started falling apart!
That really doesn't have anything to do with it though.
I know it's totally in my hands how healthy I am.
ANYWAY...
I just wanted to let you know I'm here,
trying to feel better and that
 I miss you all....

Wishing you a beautiful weekend dear friends,
hugs and love,
Dawn

Oh Dawn I feel for you. Mr OP had it really bad for years and had to have surgery. He is so much better now, but it was awful there for awhile.

Please take care of yourself.

Prayers and Gentle hugs my friend!

I know what you mean about things falling apart after 50--I'm 61, and I can empathize. I hope you feel better soon!

I had to look that up, Dawn. Oh my goodness you poor darling!

Praying for good health for you - so right, good health is EVERYTHING and nothing else matters at all compared to it.

Wishing you well, take care and I sure hope this passes (and fixes itself) soon. ♥

As one who battles the same ailment let me just say girl, I feel your pain. So thankful surgery isn't needed. It's frustrating since it just seems to hit out of the blue, but we both know certain foods can trigger it. Just wish I could learn to leave those foods alone!
Take care and get plenty of rest for you as well as your innards!
Blessings,
Deb

Hello Miz Dawn,
I hope you get to feeling better real soon, like now. I looked it up on Web MD, and that sent me into looking at many things I was wondering about. So, I thank you for posting today. Getting older is the pits at times. But I am glad you are taking good care of yourself.

So sorry Dawn, It's hard to be "down" when there is so much as women we want/need to do. Just rest in HIS care. Praying for healing and better days. ~ Abby

THAT is nothing to play around with. A friend of mine has to be so careful and still there are times of extreme pain and trips to the dr. prayers and hugs that you feel better very soon!
