A teeny bit disconnected ~

I don't really know why.
Or maybe I do...

Seems I can't get into my goodness zone ~
too much heaviness on my mind,

too much distraction,
too much everything.

I'm working a few needle books to sell as I've had some requests ~
and my mind is running rampant with more ideas but...
nothing's coming out.
Just feeling totally frustrated.

BUT....

The goodness I will share today??
I was so honored to give our sweet grandson Murray
his very first haircut this past Sunday evening!
Here he is, posing like a true gentleman after the fact...
our sweet, sweet boy ~ he's growing so fast!!!
Just look at that little expression...
a true heart stealer!!!

I hope you are doing so good...
feeling your muse and creating your heart out!

Wishing you a wonderful February Tuesday my precious friends ~
hugs and love,
Dawn

When life gets to be "too", God has His way of stepping in and slowing us down. And what seems brain freeze, really isn't. Perhaps it's just a moment to let the thought settle and us settle down.
He is adorable in his new 'do. Thank goodness our g'babies are never "too". In fact, can they ever be "too" anything? Not in this chubby lady's book!

It comes and goes...that little muse. Praying that you have a time of being refreshed and knowing deep in your being that all will be well. I remember so many times when you'd come along with just the right word for me...one of them was...do what makes you feel lovely...remember?

That grandson of yours is some kind of handsome. He looks so grown up with his new haircut! Well done!

Doesn't that first haircut just make them into little boys, no longer babies. Murray looks adorable, great haircut. I'm sure your creative juices will start flowing any day now.

Good morning Dawn, what a handsome little guy! He is already so big!
Thank you for the beautiful pictures I love the one with the "forest fairies" we had books like these for our children!
Sometimes you need a little break .... and here it is, a new idea! I think we all have some "empty" days!
Take care, sending hugs, have a lovely day Brigitte

oh sweet Dawn
I have learned, that when I have too much on my mind, being sad/heavy, or even joyful, my mind wants to create a zillion things, but I cannot focus.
It is just scattered everywhere.

Those are the times I just need to still myself before the Lord, and get grounded in Him.

Do not worry about why this is happening, or how to 'fix' it, but quiet yourself.
God has it all under control, and much better at fixing than we are.

Praying His peace over you dear one.

blessings
