Finally...my creative muse is stirring!

It seems that all I've been concentrating on lately is soap.
Believe it or not, we've had TONS of orders, even in January!
And of course, I'm so very thankful ~

But finally I've had a little pause and I've gathered a few beautiful elements together
that make me smile!!! Antique baby quilt fragments for a few needle cases,
brown velvet and antique lace for a lavender sachet
and timeless toile and lace for another.

It feels so good to combine these gorgeous elements to
possibly create something beautiful ~
I didn't get much further than this but was so happy that I was able to,
I just had to share with you....

Plus, I wanted to share a few found treasures!
The other day I visited Hobby Lobby
and had to buy a bit more of their embossed fake leather fabric ~
don't you just LOVE it???
Plus, in their jewelry section I found a beautiful old looking key, half price too!

Next, I went to TJ Maxx and found the most wonderful printed tissue paper
and embroidered bee washcloths ~ all for such a great price!

It has been so horribly cold down here in Georgia!!!
But I feel so bad even speaking of it because of
all our Northern friends are going through.
We are just not used to these cold temps here in the south!!!

Wherever you are, I so hope you are staying cozy and warm ~
Wishing you a wonderful Thursday my dear friends,
hugs and love,
Dawn

It is okay to complain when the temps are as cold in Georgia as they are in Maine! Sorry for the rhyme. LOL

Ohhhhh...I love that tissue paper...

Oh my God! I LOVE that tissue paper, I love collecting tissue papers like for projects that I dream of but not always get to. I am going to look for them in my state. I wish you could buy more of them and I would buy them off of you :)

Oh, yes! Those tissues are to die for! A great haul!
Our temps in Western Mass. hover around 0 at night and maybe 12 in the daytime. Nothing to do but make art! Have fun with your new stash.
Hugs,
Sherry

I went to TJMaxx after many years because of this post. I searched/asked but no luck with tissue paper, especially when the lady told me they don't sell tissue paper. So I was walking towards the cash register with some other small stuff and something made me look and there it was hanging at the bottom along with gift bows! I squealed in joy and bought the french one along with another set that had immigration stamps from all over the world. I skipped the music one only because I already had that. Thanks to you Dawn, I now have gorgeous tissue paper! Can't wait to see what you will do with yours.
