A finished project!

I have to share the new purse I just finished!
I really like the jute webbing combined with the toile ~
The buttons are even covered in the pretty toile.
The pattern was pretty easy to follow and I'm so pleased
with the results. It has a lot of body because it is interlined
with wonderful, soft fleece too!

This was the first time that I've added a magnetic closure and it was pretty easy to do!

I've already added it to my Etsy store if you'd like to take a peek!!!!

Wishing you a wonderful Friday dear friends ~
hugs and love,

Dawn

Well done, should be a huge seller with the holidays coming up - what lucky lady wouldn't LOVE to have that purse to call her very own.

Hugs.

Hello Dawn
I haven't been around for a while whilst caring for a very dear friend with cancer but just had to pop in to say "hi" and to say what a lovely job you have done on that toile bag! It's gorgeous!
Big hugs,
Suzy

Love it, Dawn! I'm a fan of toile so I love how you've used it here. I'm going to be taking on a messenger bag, which I've never made before. I'm sure, if nothing else, it will be interesting! Love the covered buttons you added, too. They make for a nice finishing touch.

As long as I live, I don't think I will ever tire of toile. It's the most beautiful pattern on earth...as far as I'm concerned!
You did a fab job of combining the elegance of it with the rustic of the trim. Down to the last detail, it is gorgeous. Great job girl!

That turned out really cute! I've used those same type of magnetic butotns and they are fanastic, aren't they?
And it's not surprising that your purse has already sold.
Good job!!

Oh, Dawn, I didn't think that the bag could be any lovelier than it was in your last post, but the sweet covered buttons really finish it off! I love the magnetic clasp... I am too lazy to close zippers on my bags and they gape open so unattractively.: ( xoxo
