Making pretty things ~

I've started working on a special order (months old) and am finally getting it finished!
Remember the memory organizer I made filled with pockets?
Well, I've had a friend wanting one and it was so difficult to make
that I have put it off for months!
But I finally started it and am
I'm in the middle of it now and hoping so much that it
turns out good and that she loves it.

My new lamp and it's rogue shade (I don't care)
and one of my work tables filled with recent
magazine treasures. I still haven't even looked at them all!!

More of the work table...

The sewing machine just waiting for me to get this project finished!!!

And someone waiting to be next...

Don't forget about my 'Paris Flea Market Treasures' book giveaway!!!
If you've not commented to win yet
This giveaway ends tomorrow, Friday at 6 pm est!

Happy Thursday sweet friends ~
hugs and love,
Dawn

Hello Dawn. I love your set-up for taking pictures of your work. Is this what you use to take your Etsy photos? I thought about investing in a photo light box but I like your set-up better, plus its bigger. Do you mind sharing how you came up with this type of photo area? It looks really simple. Thank you...

Hi Dawn, I'm loving that lamp. It's called a demijohn, used to hold wine or olive oil. I know because I recently found one with no basket cover. I'm glad you are using it as is, sometimes it takes a while to find just the right lampshade...and you can never have enough light as you create! Can't wait to see the completed works Dawn, you are so creative and your work amazing. Love, Penny
