Feeling thankful and oh-so-blessed this December day...

What a wonderful feeling!!!
I'm feeling so very thankful today and have to share it with you.
With the few recent health problems I've had lately and
with all of us enduring this choking economy,
I love it when I can rise above it all to cherish and appreciate the blessings in my life!

Sometimes, it's terribly hard to do this.
We can so easily dwell on all the terrible things
that are going on in our lives...all that we don't have...
the troubles that plague us day in and day out.

But then there are the days where something sweet happens and
you realize how good you have it...how blessed you are and really
how wonderful life truly is!

Today, I am thankful for my precious family.
For our five sons who amaze me each and every day
with their love for one another.
If one is in need, the other will always fill the gap ~
how beautiful is this?
I've seen them all doing this for one another too!

If we've done one thing right, it is teaching our sons
the value of love and family.

I am blessed.

Counting your blessings is a beautiful thing....
Wishing you a wonderful Monday dear friends!
hugs and love,
Dawn

I wholeheartedly agree Dawn There is nothing more important. Thanks for your kind words on my pitiful attempt at your gorgeous Angel Wings. I love them so, I'm definitely going to try again. Next time I think I'll try gathering the ruffles on the sewing machine. Thanks so much for always inspiring me with your beautiful creations and gorgeous images that you share so generously.

I count my blessings each and every day. Isn't it amazing how the older you get, the more you appreciate the non-material things in life and never take them for granted? And of course, added to my blessings is reading your blog each morning, and appreciating the time you take to share your life and include all those sweet little pictures! Have a great day! Sue

Oh yes, dear mother...you did something right! We have the examples of those brothers who do not get along all around us. We have a set here in town who, if they run into each other at the hardware store, say nothing. It's so sad.

Oh I do love the that last photo...it is so dear on many levels...the shade in the blowing laundry, the sweet baby happy that mama is at his level...the relaxed mother enjoying her child...lovely!

We do have so much to be grateful for. Thank you for reminding me.

I feel like another kindred soul...I too have been counting my blessings as of late. Another Holiday without my dear sweet parents, my Sister has been so ill and many, many surgeries, my Daughter just had surgery on Monday and still needs more tests and biopsies...life has just been so hard lately, BUT, I don't know how or why... I am still counting my blessings at all the good life has to offer! Sometimes I think it takes the dark to see the light!
Holiday Hugs,
Pendra
