The Fruit of the Spirit ~

I've always loved this Bible passage...

Galatians 5:22-23:

But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness,
goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control.
Against such things there is no law.

Such beautiful promises for us all ~

When I create multiples of one item,
I love to label each one
just to help me tell them apart
should they sell.
The fruit of the spirit verse holds
such wonderful labels for each little piece!!!

Thank you all so much for your kind comments
and words of encouragement on my health.
You all are such precious friends
and truly lift me up!!!

Here are a few photos of what I've been working on:

The best surprise arrived in the mail yesterday!!!
A beautiful copy of the newest issue of HandCrafted ~
Why?
I had no clue!
But as I looked inside...I soon discovered why :)
Stampington republished a piece of mine
they published back in 2009.
How neat is that??
It really is a wonderful issue too!

You can find my new Christmas candy cups

Today,
I feel blessed and so very thankful ~

Happy Tuesday dear friends,
hugs and love,
Dawn

I love that verse. It's often quoted around here. The one on my mind most often these days is "self control". Thank you for all the pretty things you make and share. It's an inspiring place to visit. Take care.

Dawn, I love that passage too, although it's a bit much to live up to sometimes :) Your cups are just precious. They look like heirlooms, and I'm sure they will become just that for some lucky folks!

Oh my Dawn, these Christmas cup ornaments are just precious. I will be getting that issue of Stampington for sure... this was done long before I even knew about the publication.. or started getting creative in other ways than sewing. Congrats on the re-publish.

First of all I want to congradulate you on being published, I will go and buy the magazine this afternoon!! Also, you have those beautiful grandbabies, so your right, even though going to the doctor is the last thing we want to do - you have to so you can watch them grow up. I am 52 and have a 26 year old son and a 14 year old daughter, so I have to keep healthy for her, Brian has graduated from college and is on his own, but you know they need their mothers at times no matter how old they are.

I wanted to tell you that your little pots you are making are beautiful and was hoping you would make a tutorial, I looked at the tutorial you have now but the pots are painted, they do not have lace like these.

Have a wonderful day!
