Want to drool a little?

One of the best parts of any trip I take is being able to SHOP!!!
I just love visiting stores I've never been to before in hopes
of finding even just one little treasure.

And "little" is the key word here.
Having only a carry-on bag since I flew from Georgia to Texas,
my space was limited to take goodies back home.
But the wonderful thing is that tiny is what I love anyway!

Well, I know you don't want me to keep typing a bunch of blather,
here are some pics I took while shopping in Waxahachie, Texas:

The minute we arrived we hit a few antique shops...
some of this stuff isn't old but I loved the displays ~
don't you just love seeing spring arrive in these little shops?
Truthfully, I didn't get many pics here because I switched
into major junkin', huntin' mode!

These photos are from The Dove's Nest....such a gorgeous shop!

This next set of photos are from the Petticoats on the Prairie show Friday evening...
I loved it!!!

I'll share my sweet, little finds in my next post!!

Have a great Spring Tuesday dear friends....
hugs and love,
Dawn

Dawn, I might not be an artist, but I love watching those who are shop. It's quite the lesson in looking with the heart as well as the eyes.
Thanks to all you gals who create for letting me hang with y'all. I felt so blessed to be included in such a talented group of women...and Cat Daddy loved being the rooster in the henhouse!

Pure eye candy, Dawn! I would have packed up a box and shipped it home! : ) Lots of great ideas, too. I see a few things that you could copy ~ like those numbered bottles with the keys.

What a fabulous shop you found and thanks for sharing some photos! I adore the bag on the mannequin in shabby style!

It's to bad you could not stay long enough for Antique Week at Marburger Farm and Roundtop, TX area!

I have loved your class photos, just read on my cell phone and could not comment.
