Needing a shove.

Seems a lot is going on around the farmhouse lately....
I'm very distracted and not at all productive.
Yes, I cook, wash, etc. but
sometimes
the studio gets neglected.
Right now it's a jumbled up mess ~
I've got to straighten it up so I can get back in there
to make something new!!!

I'm hoping to get myself going.....soon.
How about you?
Are your creative juices flowing???

Happy Wednesday precious friends,
hugs and love,
Dawn

Once you sit in your creative chair it will come to you, all your ideas and sparks will come back.
I have to make a few "Victorian" pillows and I don't feel that style anymore so I avoid going to my sewing room.
Tidying the room will help, I'll start today!
Hugs,
Angela.

Many, many days I need a shove. Then it comes to me and I get busy! I know how you feel. Not to worry, it's life!

At least you don't need a shovel- which is what I thought your post said at first glance. I have at least 10 projects in some form or fashion started. But hey- you need to get back on that Nature Journal-- it's wanting to come to it's new home. :-) Make something Halloweenie and I'll swap with you. Also- I think it's the weather-- yuk we need some freakin' rain. XO

Don't tell me these are pictures of your jumbled up mess, cuz girl, you've got NOTHING over me. When I finish (or half finish) a project, it all gets piled on the desk, the floor or balanced on something else that was there first. Someone should host a "Come as you are craft room" party and dare other crafty bloggers to show their true colors when it comes to reveal what their spaces look like right. at. this. very. moment.

Oh yeah. They are flowing, in my head, but nothing much going on with my hands. (except repeats of things that sell well at the store).
You know, the 'these sell well so need to keep making them' things? Just have to mix those i with the new ideas, but not much time right now.

(Plus, determined not to start a new project till I finish some I have started). =/

always enjoy my visits here.

hugs and blessings

Just come on over to HOT Mississippi ans spend a while with me and we can do plenty of projects! Wouldn't that be great to visit with one another from time to time to help get the juices going and give some much needed advice to people like me!

My creative juices are flowing, but I cannot create because my studio is a disaster! I don't have one surface left to work on. I keep staring at it day in and day out.

Amen to a few of the comments. Especially Jan and Susan. My creative river is dammed by the various and sundry materials we all have to have to create.

Maybe it's the August doldrums, or maybe it's the rush and tumble of everyday life. So much to make/do/remake/redo and so little time.

The two women who have commented right above my comment are saying it all!! Susan Hemann is literally talking about my craft room, and the reason it looks like that, is explained in Elizabeth's first paragraph!! I wonder what would happen if I stayed out of stores and thrift/junque shops, AND quit spending so much time on this computer? You're right....probably nothing!! Linda S. in NE
