Happy Spring and a little creating!

I bought this a few years ago from one of the sweet dealers
in my antique store ~ I just love the look of it!

I've been playing ~
pulling out things,
laying them all out on my desk
just to see if they "speak" to each other ~

I adore old, old lace....the finer the better ~
net lace makes me swoon!

I even draped a piece on a cream peat pot!
This little piece of lace is one of those I play with a lot ~
it's just beautiful!

I am so loving Pinterest.com!
I drink in the gorgeous photographs people post.
This is something I ran across this week
and it has REALLY
spoken to me....
to not wait to create.

(source: here)
I did change the color just a bit :)

I hope you have an amazing Friday dear friends!!
hugs and love,
Dawn

Oh, I just love those pincushions -- what a great idea! And I hear you about not permanently altering some things. I always worry about that. Anyway -- they're adorable!

Dear Dawn- your Mary-Janes are totallu wonderfull and sweet-- a great idea, not to glue- I have the same feeling- sometimes-about not ruining an old piece.
And sweetest Dawn, the little springpiece is so cute- love it.
Precius friend- I wish you a beautiful week-end- Love and hugs, to you from me.

Dawn, it is so good to see you back at creating again and I'm not surprised that you are using little shoes! They are just so precious with the worn toes! You saw the heart in them! So much loved and once again made usable and pretty too!

How darling those little shoes are with their stubbed toes. If I had known that such things would become dear, I'd never have tossed out so many. I like how you are being so thoughtful about creating without glue. Thank you for the link...I'm off to check it out.

I LOVE LOVE LOVE your new creation, those shoes are just adorable, and that you didn't ruin them with glue..... ((stares at them some more)) just adorable!

I have a new digi kit in the works you're gonna love!! It's not released yet. I am just being lazy, but when I do, I'll drop you a note. Your little mini dress is in it!

Love the shoes- and I do know what you mean about not totally altering an old piece- sometimes I feel like its not completely mine- some of it still belongs to the original owner, and I should respect that.

Always love to see your creations!

Dear Dawn, I love LOVE the little pincushions! They are so sweet. I'd hate to break up the set! I love where your creative mind goes. I also love to play with old lace and fabrics, tho my collection does not rival yours. Have a wonderful week,
Sherry
