My stop on the Art at The Speed of Life blog tour!

I'm still pinching myself...
I am so very honored to be a
contributing artist in Pam Carriker's
wonderful new book

I was fortunate enough to "meet" Pam
(we've not actually met in person)
through blogging several years ago when
our blogs were quite new and we were both
submitting art to Stampington for publishing ~
She has always been such an encouraging friend
to me and is an absolutely wonderful artist!!

If you have that burning desire to create something beautiful
always in the back of your mind,
Pam's book will help you achieve this goal
on a daily basis!

Our day-to-day lives are so chock full of household duties,
working to support our families,
we have busy schedules to coordinate
and
so much more...
how in the world can we nuture our creative spirit???
Pam Carriker's book
is a gentle guide to help you MAKE time to create!

I love that Pam's artist contributors have different art styles.
The book is filled with so many projects, techniques and ideas that
you'll love experimenting with too ~

Congrats again Dawn for being featured. The artwork included is just lovely. I see I may have some new blogs to visit today! Appreciate that too. You really nailed it here...I do have so many ideas in my head and journal but I haven't started many in past few weeks. Just been a busy time for the family. I actually have some time today to finish up a few things and maybe get some of those ideas started. Have a blessed Sunday!

Is this beautiful book out in the stores yet? I've been keeping a lookout and have not seen it anywhere! I guess I could order it from Amazon, but I like to flip through a book before I buy it! It looks wonderful and you should be proud to be included! I'm proud for you! You inspire me with every post and I feel like I have learned so much from your beautiful work! Congratulations Dawn!

Thank you so much for sharing your wonderful ideas. I am a fan of Pam Carriker and follow her blog daily, I followed her strathmore class and bought her book. She led the way to your blog and I'm in awe at what I see; I don't stop ooohhh - ing and aaaaaahhh - ing and will stop by regularly from now on. Your artwork is so inspiring and I love it to look at the beautiful creations again and again. Anja

This looks like such a special book. I'm not at all surprised that you are included, my dear. When I saw the honey maker, I grinned. Oh how I'd love to gift our "honey man" with a photo of himself tending the bees and with that scripture included. Thank you for urging us to create. Seems as if there's no time all too often, but there is. I know there is time.

Hi Dawn

Your work definitely deserves to be in this book. I will have to watch for it. We are going to Barnes 7 Noble later in the week for some magazines I want. I will see if they have it.

Congratulations.

You absolutely feed my craft addiction. Thank you for the amazing mixed media creations. since I don't have as much time to create like I used to so for some reason this fulfills me for now.
