Perspective ~

Life has a way of making you put things in perspective ~
don't you agree???
Here I am moaning and groaning about moving all the
(beautiful) junk I've accumulated over the past years and
Sunday morning we receive a call that our brother-in-law Mark
has suffered a heart attack!!!

Our niece Allison kept him alive with CPR until the paramedics arrived
and now he is in ICU in Athens, Ga...

Makes any trouble I have seem like a joke ~
Please, my precious prayer warriors,
Keep Mark in your prayers for healing...

Hugs and love,
Dawn

Yes, it is just these sort of things that make us aware of what truly is important. I am so glad that Allison was able to handle everything until help arrived. Praying for Mark...

I know what you mean, Dawn. How often life changes in a heartbeat, or one that stops beating. Each moment is so precious. Why do we forget it? But we do, all of us, as we get caught up in the day-to-day things that are annoying, etc. Hugs to you!
Love, Diane

Prayers have been said, and I believe God answers all our prayers. He knows what is going to happen to us (good and bad) and has all his angels (people)in place when we need them for the good or not so good time. This angel was Allison, and I believe it was no mistake she was there for your brother-in-law. Prayers ~ Eileen

I am definitely praying. I've walked in those shoes myself, when my husband almost died of a heart attack 3 days before his 43rd birthday. Praise God he recovered completely, but I know what she is going through.

I pray for God's peace to envelope her, for friends and family to pitch in to lift some of the burdens she will carry and for grace and stamina to get through the next few weeks.

Sweet Dawn...

Of course I'll keep Mark and family in my prayers... God is good. How wonderful that his daughter was there to administer CPR. I just saw a report on TV a few weeks ago that your best bet for being saved during cardiac arrest is to have someone there.

God bless you sweet chickie...

Spencer
