Farmhouse love....and a dinner guest!

I'm still packing, removing everything on the walls, washing curtains....
Thank you so much for all the sweet volunteers to help too!
And back at the ol' farmhouse...
the photo below was taken in the studio looking into the guest room ~

Looking from the studio, through the foyer into the living room ~

I've added this wonderful hutch top to our buffet ~
I just love it, it has glass on the sides!!

OH! And I think I've come up with a solution for the hiding the stove back...
stay tuned :)

I had to place a piece of fabric underneath the hutch top but
I'll find something a little prettier soon ~

We had a precious little visitor at the farmhouse...
and she just LOVES the hardwood floors!

We ended up all going out to dinner together...and she loves mac & cheese!!!

And then on the ride home back to her mama & daddy...
it was perfect opportunity for a cat nap!

Have a great Thursday dear friends!!
hugs and love,
Dawn

What fun she's going to have at the farm! Her hair is getting so light that I had to take a second look.

Is that Noah looking a bit overwhelmed?

Everything is shaping up beautifully and, believe me, I know how much work it has been for you all!

Love that pretty little piece on top of the hutch!! The hardwood floors are wonderful! I remember when I was little my mom had an old buffer and she would wax the floors . We as kids would put on old socks and slide back and forth to help shine the floors and of course have fun!

Just wanted to say how much I enjoyed my visit to your blog!

I can't think of a more perfect first guest to have visit your new home. She is growing so fast!

Love all you are adding bit by bit to your decor. I shudder to think if we had to move after 21 years in our home with five outbuildings full too! I wish you much luck in your weeding and packing, enjoy the process. We have always joked that if we ever did move that the contents would be part of the sale, it would be easier to just start all over.
