Can you say "utter chaos???"

I mean it.
Dear friends....my studio has been 90% moved
and it has BLOWN UP our new little farmhouse!!!!

My new studio is probably HALF the size of the old two car garage and
I am amazed at all of the lovely junk I have!!

Thank goodness we have five sons...they have been so wonderful ~
I keep apologizing to them for the amount of "stuff" I have....
our oldest loves to aggravate me and said, "hey mom, do you know TLC's
phone number?" (The channel that the show "Hoarders" is on!!!!!)

Ugh!!! Doesn't he realize you can't create without stuff to create WITH???
(Actually he really does realize this :)

 The old studio, broken down....
I couldn't help but feel a little sad about it ~

The new studio in a massive mess...
now to see if I can get this mess organized!

Thank you so, so very much for your precious prayers
for my brother-in-law Mark ~
He's still fighting for his life...
this week will be a pivotal week  for him,
We are praying for his full recovery!!!

Life is so very precious ~
we must treasure each and every moment.

Wishing you a wonderful, happy Monday dear friends,
hugs and love,
Dawn

Dawn, I'm sending up prayers for your brother-in-law Mark's rapid and complete healing!

I almost envy you for getting to sort through all your stuff, even though it is SO much work, because I LOVE culling my clutter down to the bare necessities (except in my workshop, where it is hard to part with even one little item)

Hang in there.....it's all starting to look just lovely!

Dawn,
I really do not see how you will be able to put your things away. Way too much stuff. Here is my address, I will be glad to take most of it off your hands.
Just kidding, you will do it and the best part, you will know where everything is! Now about that cute little vintage doll sink...I will even send you the box to send it to me in. ;)

Blessings for your Brother-in-law!

As overwhelming as "boxing up" your studio is...I can almost hear your sighs and chuckles as you find "treasures" not forgotten just less remembered!

In no time at all your treasures will be nestled into your new studio and oh how sweet that journey will be!

Dawn,

I am keeping your BIL in my prayers as well as all the family.

You poor girl! I know the feeling having just moved into a new studio a few months ago and I am still not completely settled in. Enjoy the process, I know it is overwhelming and I also know you will tackle it and make it dreamy wonderful!

Ya know many of us would LOVE to help you JUST to get to see all of that stuff!

I watched the Hoarders last night:) I think it makes me feel better about all of the stuff I have to see that it isn't as bad as theirs!

Enjoy your day and you will have it looking perfect before you know it!

HUGS!

Dear Dawn:
Man, oh man, have you got your work cut out for you! I so want to put a hard floor in my studio, but I would have to do create chaos in the rest of the house to empty out my studio in preparation! So I tolerate the carpet instead...I'm such a coward!

Healing prayers continue for Mark, my friend. It's really a lot on your plate right now. Prayers for strength for you, too.

Well, if you decide to do a blog sale, let us know! I'd be glad to make some purchases from your stash! It is always interesting to see how people either condense or weed out "stuff" when space is cut. I've had to do it myself. I know it can be difficult, but I really felt a weight lifted when I donated some bolts of fabric to Goodwill that I had been holding onto.

Dear Dawn, The work you have may be a blessing. Being busy can make the waiting for Mark to recover a bit easier. Prayers to your family and especially to you dear Dawn. Love, Penny

Dawn!
Your studio looks like mine except I don't have the excuse of just having moved in :(
Have fun organizing, and best to your BIL, hope he recovers soon.

Hi Dawn! You have been a busy girl!!! When I was going through my renovation Lisa told me to think of it as childbirth...painful while you are going through it but sooooo worth it in the end!!!
I will add my prayers for your BIL too. With all of blogland asking for his speedy recovery he is sure to get well soon!

you are going to find things you didn't even know you had, a new treasure hunt!!!

Still thinking of Mark and sending him healing thoughts.

I like Karen's thoughts on your studio ;) Of course adoption would be less painful and you could just move right into the enjoyment part. So if you need any of us to adopt your stuff, we'd all be more than happy to help ;)

Hugs to you Dawn!

Wow! I don't envy you your task but I know you'll get it done! And you will love it! My 'Goddess Room' as my Hub calls it is also undergoing renovation and I have found the neatest stuff that I forgot I had. So that part is kind of fun.
Thinking of you and Mark! Prayers still coming your way!
By the way, bought your new little shoe tutorial and it looks great! Such clear instructions. Can't wait to get to it!

Oh Dawn I now it'll be beautiful before you know it and even better then the last studio. Good thing that hoarders show came about so we can all get teased about it.

Prayers and love to your SIL.

I was so sad when I had to "deconstruct" my studio before our last move...and now with the new house I am in the same boat as you...but looks like you are further along. All of my stuff is still just piled in boxes in there. Waiting to paint and spruce it up a bit before "settling in"...but I cannot wait! I know yours will be so warm, cozy and creative once you get it done...can't wait to see!

Sending up prayers for your brother-in-law and family...
