About time.....

Do you find yourself looking up at the time
and wondering where in the world did the day go???

I just realized this week that Noah starts school (7th grade!)
in just two short weeks!!!
Chase goes back to college (his freshman year!)
in just three weeks!!
The days are flying by and I simply can't believe it.
Sometimes I feel I don't have enough to "show" for my days...
I love to have "proof" that I've been productive or
used my time wisely ~
This is always my challenge.....time.

Seems time is so easy to waste....but so very valuable too.
It's the most precious and inexpensive gift to give....
but too often we tend to forget this fact ~

Time is free, but it's priceless.
You can't own it, but you can use it.
You can't keep it, but you can spend it.
Once you've lost it
you can never get it back.

Time is an equal opportunity employer.
Each human being has exactly the same
number of hours and minutes every day.
Rich people can't buy more hours.
Scientists can't invent new minutes.
And you can't save time to spend it on another day.
Even so, time is amazingly fair and forgiving.
No matter how much time you've wasted in the past,
you still have an entire tomorrow.

~ Denis Waitely ~

Time is infinitely more precious than money,
and there is nothing common between them.
You can't accumulate time;
you cannot borrow time;
you can never tell how much time you have left in the Bank of Life.
Time is life...

Hi Dawn,
I am so glad to be back to blogging and couldn't wait to see you. How true, how precious and valuable time is. I often think no matter how much I do in one day, there is never enough time!I always ask myself, did I waste time today?
Good luck with your boys, college days are a new begining.

Love the quotes, Dawn! I don't feel time is ever wasted when you spend it with family! Oh that reminds me - I once heard that how your describe time is how meaningful it will be for you, i.e. insted of "spending" time..(gone)think of it as "investing" (smart, giving 'returns' meaningful)..so investing time with family is NEVER wasted!

Hi Sweetie,
Oh reading your post tonight made my heart race, I cannot believe that in 3 weeks my babies will be 5 years old. Talk about where did the time go? To be honest I don't have real clear memories of a lot of the last few years. LOL I can't even admit to myself that they will start kindergarten in a matter of weeks & my house will once again be silent. (at least a few hours a day) I know one day soon I'll be packing them up for college, what a sad day that will be. Ok, I've bummed myself out now, I'm going to bed. Miss you! Lisa
