Where Bloggers Create......II ~

Welcome sweet friends!!
Please step into my little wonderland ~
it's just a converted garage.....it even still has the garage door!
I've removed all of the hardware though....it doesn't open ~
A wonderful floor has been laid....and a curtain hung to hide any
evidence of a garage door :)
A simple window unit to keep me cool in the summer....
and a couple of wonderful space heaters keep me warm in the winter months.

I'm so excited to be a part of Karen's blog party....

We are now stepping down from the mud room into the "garage."

I love using shoe organizers to hold precious
pieces of artwork from my friends!

Here is the view as I step into my little world ~

I love hanging things from the ceiling!
Bird cages.....tags from friends....it doesn't matter....
Just having these treasures around me makes me smile!

I love me some fabric....can you tell?

Remember to click on any photo not once BUT twice!!!!
You can see everything so much better larger.....

The sewing side of the room....

Come visit me while I create....sit back and relax in my comfy chair!

Where I do my most of my creating!

I love the sewing machine my sweet husband bought me!
It's been perfect....

My precious grandmother's photo is at the top of this photo ~
she always encouraged me to be creative .....

I love baby dresses....
old, thin and even a little stained is wonderful ~

My lovely shelf....I love these things ~ but I love all the stuff in my studio!

And what do I wish for you?
Just carve out a tiny space....even a simple corner of a room ~
Gather your most wonderful supplies and keep them there.
And THAT my dear friends...will be your creative space!

Who needs an entire room????

Simply stow your stuff away but ALWAYS....
ALWAYS, take time to create!!!

Hugs and love,
Dawn

Oh Baby!
I've never seen it in all it's glory! My GOD woman, it's huge! I'm going to have to start sedating Kevin & take over our garage. It's his man cave tho, so not much chance. He's already aggravated that 'my junk' is infringing on his space! Lets get back to you. What an amazing nest in that aquarium, someone must love you a lot to give you such a cool one. You have so much crazy cool goodness hanging from the rafters I didn't even see the fluorescent! I think behind that pom pom I saw Noah swinging around, LOL. I gotta say, I am jealous. To me that's a studio, stuff everywhere, tons of storage, all of it out for the world to see. I have to keep mine somewhat tethered so the world doesn't have me committed. My 2 faves were the black cabinet card collage in the birdcage with the typewriter under. And the table top with the half mannequin & advent calendar. Okay, think I have Rose beat. Gotta go see some others! Lisa

I double-clicked on each picture to see every detail. I have tried making two small bedrooms into my space and it is never enough to be organized. Oh La la, what a fabulous idea! My garage is full anyway, so if I just emptied it out, maybe I could work much better and be less of a hoarder as I am called! I hate that word, I just have a lot of supplies! Grins!

Oh Dawn, thanks for showing us more of your space, you always inspire me and give me wonderful ideas! I just have to Get Started! I used my sewing machine last night for the first time in years and it worked fine!
Maybe I can get the hang of it soon, but I still expect to work handiwork and my mixed Media without a machine.
