Sometimes...

I'm not inspired or inspiring.
I'm not interesting....
I simple need to be kicked.
I get in this mind set, a simple blah mood
and it takes me a little while to shake it off.
Do you ever get this way too?
I have nothing in particular to even pin it on.
That's what bites.
But thankfully with a little time...
it will fade away.
Thankfully.

But I want to say hello.

And that I hope you are doing so good.

I always want to say how much I appreciate
your precious visits and comments ~

Even when I'm a complete bore.

Plus I just have to wish you a wonderful day and weekend,
that they're filled with all the things you love,
and that you are blessed beyond measure...

hugs and love,
Dawn

Do I ever get this way you ask?
Yes Dawn, matter of fact...I'm in that kind of way!!! ;)
It's almost 3am and I can't sleep...I really feel sorry for those of whom are around me for the rest of the day.
No...I shall not be inspiring today! hahahahahha
But just knowing I'm not the only one makes my little world much better :) Thanks Dawn!!!!

Boring is not a word that would describe you at all Dawn! Everyone gets to feeling a little blah once in a while. My advice would be to get outside and take a walk....but I don't take my own advice so you don't have to either! haha. I hope you feel a tad of inspiration soon...for your sake...we are always inspired when we come visit you!
:)

Yes, I know what you mean. I get that way, too. I think everyone does. It just has to run it's course and you'll shake it off. I wonder if it sometimes happens when you've got a lot going on, and your mind and body want you to slow down.

Thank you, Dawn, so much for all the time you spend uploading images from your personal collection to post. Whenever I'm feeling a little out of sorts, I spend some time looking through my collection and I always find something to smile about. And some of the best ones have been gifts from you! <>

Just go do something else. Something unrelated to being artistic. Self- indulgence is not a bad thing. Everyone needs to "shut down and reboot" from time to time. Mine came with a melt-down yesterday- freaked my whole family out-- but I feel good today.

Oh Dawn, you are such a special lady. Super sweet and everything nice. It is good to hear that you are not perfect. I know, that is not nice, let me explain myself. Yes, we all have those moments, but a lot of people are very good at disguises.Sometimes we put out there the best of us, but not necessarily the "real us". I'm talking about me. I'm a type A personality. I'm an overachiever, resilient, stubborn, perfectionist, motivator kind of person. Because of those qualities I do not allow myself much room for failure and I'm my hardest critic so many times. Sometimes I have been in a funk, like everybody else, but I don't show or want to talk about it because somehow I do not want to show my weaknesses. I feel that so many people depend on my that I can't allow time to just be what ever on certain days...but I'm human, not God. So this days I'm in training, I have learn to share the good and the bad and I have noticed in the process that more people warm up to you. Sometimes what we see as weaknesses can be ourselves been human. I realized that it does not hurt my testimony as a christian. I was fed the super christian doctrine for so long, that is not strength, that is a front. I have realize God loves me the same when sad as when I'm happy. So my dear friend, we are allowed to have those days, we all have have them, just don't stay there for too long, it can zap the life out of you. Just be the sweet, special motivator, the giving lady you are. Your blog, I'm so sure have made a difference to so many. So is not about been perfect, it is about been human. God loves this imperfect persons we all are. I do not want to be perfect, I want to be godly. Blesings, Marta.
PD Sorry for theLOOONG comment

I have to say that I was like that for the better part of a year. I was going to school full time and also working full time. Being creative is my heart and soul and not being inspired was so frustrating. I was so tired and anxious that when I had any time off, all I wanted to do was shut down my mind and go to sleep. I think I'm finally through that tunnel and coming out the other side. In the last couple of weeks I've started my art journal and have done some drawings. I also made altered bottle art with shells yesterday. I guess you just have to flow with it until you get your groove back, I hope it's soon.

Hi Dawn - you are never boring - I so love the tutorials I have purchased from you and all the free images you share with us. I know what you mean my friend about getting those blah moods. I was in one yesterday and when I got home from work I just cried and cried for about 10 minutes and then I felt better. No one reason, just felt down. I sometimes think life in general just builds up - all the little things that aren't big enough to worry about on their own but accumulation of things that finally you just have to let it out. I got up this morning and feel much better and you will too in a little while. You are not alone.

I have the same exact problem. I go through cycles that I don't want to do anything and then I do too much!
My problem is I need to stay off the computer!

Sweet Dawn :),
Yes, I think most of us feel this way from time to time...just part of being human I guess...I do hope it passes soon. Maybe if you go create just "a little something" it will help? Usually works for me.
Hugs to you!

It's never, ever boring visiting here! Your blog is always one of the bright spots in my day.

Your music soothes my soul, the colors that greet me are delightful, and your words, no matter how brief, always touch me in some special way. Whether it be some new inspiration or the happiness your creations bring to me ~ maybe some words of encouragement or even some that sound a little discouraged ~ 'cause those tell me "she gets it, she understands because she experiences "being in a rut" too!

You are a kind, sweet, caring, compassionate soul and it's just really nice to stop by and say Hi!
