For the love of all things small......

I've discovered a little something.
I just LOVE tiny things!!!
I mean it.
I've found so many wonderful small goodies....and love them so.
Do you love them too?
I posed this little porcelain doll below to look like she's so very sad
to be naked!!!! and a sweet angel Lynn wanted to make her a dress....

Of course I love my little Ellie.
We ALL do....and she's still tiny and three years old next month!

I love making tiny things...
like fairy shoes ~

How could you not love doll shoes.....
Thank you dear Rose for these!

Have you ever seen how tiny a hummingbird nest is???
I so love this Rose....

Doll dresses are a fav....I can't resist them when I'm out junkin'

These girls aren't that small but still wanted to be in this post :)

Tiny bunnies from paperclay....

And look, a sweet little porcelain doll with a new dress!!!!
Can you believe Lynn made this dress without even seeing my sweet little doll???

A tiny fairy I've made back in the day ~

The ultimate tiny treasures ~ buttons!

Small shoes that have a new life.....

Small altered composition books that I've called "thought books"
perfect to jot an idea down and keep in your purse.

How could we not love small things....
they are precious and so near and dear to our heart!!!

Wishing you a wonderful Thursday sweet friends,
hugs and love,
Dawn

OMG,

The blog world is right again, Rose left a comment! LOL Okay my friend, you JUST figured out your obsession with tiny pretties?? I've know about it forever. Every pictures I remember, those little fairy shoes, didn't you buy those from stampington & embellish them about a year ago?? See, I read your posts, ha ha. Then of course the baby shoe pincushion & the paper clay bunny. Those little slippers Rose sent are the sweetest! The teeny doll slip you made me is my personal fave. Have a great day, I'm back to the burlap factory. PS My house looks like a barn! Lisa

Sweet post Dawn. Wonderful gifts and also treasures you have made.

My hand made hummingbird nests turned out looking a lot like that little real one you were gifted with, but I think I'd better keep practicing!

Hmmm. Maybe we should have a special, "Post Tiny Things Day" in Blogland. =)

hugs and blessings

Dawn,

Seeing this post just made my day and caused me to have a big smile. You see, my granddaughter LibbyAnna loves tiny things. She carries something around in her hand all day long and has a big box of *teenies* as she refers to them. Even when she falls asleep at night she has one or two in her little hand. So sweet. Just like you.

Oh yes! We ("her" and I) LOVE little things!!! Best part is that they don't take up much space at all!!! "She" ADORES the hummingbird nest - OMG is all "she" said then fell over. I think that was an indication of excitement/admiration overload. No worries - "she" makes a nice fluffy pillow when "she's" horizontal and I was just thinking about a nap....

Purrs!
