Are you creative if......

You did laundry all day long so your family
would have wonderful smelling clothes
to wear on Monday morn and the rest of the week????

AND are you creative if....
you gave your twelve year old a trim
to his ultra-cool swingin' haircut
that you'd better not cut too much off
or you're dead????
(No, this is not my Noah but the hair is so similar :)

If the answer is YES then I had a wonderfully creative day Sunday!!!!

I have to share some beautiful with you though....
don't we all need just a little beauty
to get us through the day??

A snippet from a Magnolia Pearl shoot featured in a magazine ~
I love the simplicity of this window treatment...

Gorgeousness...

Lace is classic and ALWAYS beautiful, right?

Our oldest son graduated from Savannah College of Art and Design....
a photo I took from the beautiful cemetery in Savannah ~

The front porch of the antique store I used to own.....

Beauty is everywhere.

It inspires us,
it moves us,
and it always makes us smile ~

I hope you have a beautiful Monday precious friends,
hugs and love,
Dawn

Sweet Dawn, your two last posts, are filled with beauty and creativity, and all our small and big doings at home, are creativ as well as when making an art piece, because we can`t simply not do any thing without being creative...

I just took my little Mathilde to kindergarden in Copenhagen, and so miss her already, knowing I`m heading back to Bornholm this afternoon, and therefore can not. see her for weeks again. Not easy being a grandmother like this.....

Wishing you a happy day, dearest friend,
Love AND HUGS,DORTHE

Dawn,

There is nothing more beautiful than the spirit of servant-hood - clean laundry and cool haircuts included! Taking care of our families is one of the most beautiful and blessed jobs on earth. Your spirit of loveliness is as always, inspiring!

Have a great Monday!

Dearest Dawn,

Why does your laundry look so pretty and mine just looks "DONE"?

Okay I aspire to cultivate a glimmer of your talent and by viewing your photos I just know I can do it...if I try hard enough...but if not then I'll comfort myself with time well spent viewing and reading your beautiful blog!

Thank you!

Sandy

DAwn , your pics brought smiles and delight --i can smell the crispness of the folded items -- remember my last wonderful trip to Savannah - see the roses -now dried in a decorative boxwith a note sent by my sweetheart . see the art to create with the laces -- and so sweet to remember your porch at the Plum Tree and the delights it still gives when i can visit -- Thank you for a beautiful
post - Blessings - KAthy - ga ♥

I think and hope so, Dawn! All I did was chore type things this weekend {and met with a client}. Very disappointing when I can't take even a little bit of time to do something creative. I did try to mow the lawn in a zig-zag pattern yesterday, but hubby was not feeling the same creativity I was, I guess. ; )

Yes, Dawn! Creativity is not just making art with paper, paint, etc. It's the women who know how to cook and clean and make their families comfortable! All of it is ART and all of it is CREATIVE! No one should ever feel "less than" if they aren't into crafting, etc. Creativity is about empowerment to just do what you enjoy!

Hugs! Diane

Maam, you have created a bit of a sisterhood, well, two, doesn't really make a sis hood, but, my point is...
Yes, we are creative! Yes, we have dreams of magnolia pearl clothing on our lines smelling of rose and lavender, and yes, that may not be our reality, but, I can write that faerytale to get me through four children's endless loads! Loved this! Blessings.
