To honor a precious woman ~

Do you remember awhile back when I created a few tags to cheer on a precious sister in her fight with cancer? Tina had been diagnosed with colon cancer and was so fighting the fight......

Sweet Tina lost her fight with cancer January 3rd and has gone to be with our Lord ~ I didn't even know her but knew in my heart, that if I did, I would have loved her!! She had such a creative spirit, was down to earth and loved her family.
She has many precious friends through the blogs, Cindy, Jan....
and I'm sure so many more but I just wish I would have known her myself.

I'm such a rose-colored glasses girl but we must stop
and think of this precious woman and her dear family....
and say a prayer for those left behind and always remember
the promise that we WILL meet again in Heaven.

We will be together again because we have believed that Jesus....
the Son of God died on the cross for ALL of our sins
so we could live together
in Heaven for eternity.
An amazing sacrifice for a Father to do....
and such a gift to mankind as well ~

Dear Tina, I'll to meet you in Heaven sweet girl.....

It is always so poignant when a blogger passes away and leaves her work on the web for all of to see and to read. You get to know someone and to truly feel a sense of that person's temperament and philosophy. So sad that in December so was so optimistic and then shortly thereafter - she was gone. My heart and prayers are with her dear family who must miss her immensely.

Made me so sad this cold Sunday Morning to read that Tina had passed away. I started praying for her after you mentioned her on your blog. We emailed each other once. Again like so many I did not know her but what Mimi said is exactly right, you get to know blog friends and come to apprectiate them and their wit, talent, kindness, humor, generosity, without actually every meeting them face to face. It is an amazing opportunity to connect with others this way. Thank you for YOUR sweet blog.

Dawn, this post made me cry--you are such an angel to so many--I had received the news about Tina from Jan, also, a little while back, but just prayed for her family and did not feel I could do a very good job posting about it. I am so glad you did! This will bring about so many more prayers for her family . . . thank you for being the sweet, loving lady that you are.

My heart aches. I met Tina 11 years ago, she was painting a mural in a home in Killeen TX. She was doing Altered Art before many of us, and doing it in a magnificent way. I got some of her creations and I will treasure them now more than ever. I was saddened when I read about her diagnose early on one of the blogs, didn't know she have gone to Heaven. What a party that must be. I hope the fact that she serve the Lord will be of great consolation for her family. Thank you for your soul and your precious blog. Blessings, Marta.
