OK, please don't laugh....

I have been creating, I promise!!
But I can't show you the finished photos of my four art pieces
that I mailed off to Pam for her new book....
but I will show you a snippet of one ~
just because I am in love with the image!!

The image is from Mary's new image collections "Beautiful Women"
and it worked PERFECTLY for one of my projects ~
You can see and purchase your own set HERE.....

About eleven years ago I had my very first antique space
in a beautiful antique mall, Antique Griffin.
The owners have always been so wonderful to me,
as I would come and go until I eventually had my own antiques store.
I still visit their antique mall and continue
to buy so many wonderful goodies there.
The owner, Phyllis sent a box home with
my husband the other day for me.
She had been making her own collages and
decided she wasn't going to be making any more
and wanted me to have all of her supplies that
she'd gathered to use in making them!!
I just had to show you have amazingly generous she was!!!!

Such WONDERFUL goodies, I felt as though Christmas had come again!!!

Get a load of this shelf in my studio....
chock full of things....
things that don't having anything to do with each other
except for the fact that they are here, together ~

A few books ~

And this is what I don't want you to laugh about.....
we had "snow" last night!!!!
Enough for school to be cancelled today for Noah ~
I know it's just a dusting (there was ice too )
but we make a big deal out of even a flake!!!

I hope you have a wonderful weekend sweet friends!!
hugs and love,
Dawn

Dawn, Sooo how long are we going to have to wait to see the rest of that sneak peek..I'm so curious.

Such a beautiful collection of items. I love being able to tuck items away, then when I'm working on something new, I'll open up a box and the perfect item is there waiting for me.

We have snow in Kentucky and kids off school for the last two days. The weather is bitter cold and I'm getting stir crazy. I hope you handle it better than me...lol

Sweetie, I love your art "Love's Whisper." It is exquisite. I cannot wait to see the rest. Oh, Dawn, snow in Georgia! You have shattered my fantasy of moving down South to the warmth. It has been bitter cold up here and we had more snow today. But it is a good time to nest at home:) Have a wonderful weekend! Warm Hugs...Sandy

What a wonderful surprise and just so perfect for you! Enjoy the goodies!

Well, that is really an aweful amount of snow! Get the snowblower out and make sure you have enough food at home, lol! We have about 8" right now which is a lot for our area but I know it could be much worse. Yesterday morning I shoveled snow and from the way my body felt afterwards I was sure that it must have counted as workout, lol.

Stay warm :)!

xoxo,
Julia

Dawn, what a delicious treasure trove from your friend! One never knows...there are angels among us! I've been taking a Photoshop class from DJ Pettitt and have been considering purchasing a Wacom tablet. A dear artist friend who I have never met in person, has been after me for ages to learn Photoshop. When she found out that I'm taking DJ's class, she sent me her old Wacom! Such blessings happen when we least expect them! I'd never have met my friend had it not been for the internet.....
Yes, there are angels out there!
Blessings!
Diane

You must live in the South too. We did have flurries last week, but nothing stuck. We have had some really bitterly cold weather right now, but thank goodness it is supposed to be warmer next week. I love your site.

No snow here right now, just wait a day or two it could happen. Snow makes everything look pretty. I love all the stuff you got, what a wonderful gift, she must be very special.
Not much happening here, just one day at a time with weight loss.
Love, Mary
