INSPIRE: to exert an animating, enlivening, or exalting influence on

After my post the other day about Pottery Barn and their new catalog,
I just HAD to order one! Where in the world have I been?
I remember Pottery Barn looking quite mod....
but this catalog has so much that I love ~
I'm sure it's already been blogged about all over
but I wanted to share a few of the things that caught my eye ~

OH and the birdcage is for your enjoyment (above) xxoo

Be sure to click on the photos to enlarge and see the detail ~
Now I'm not saying that I have to buy all of these things but
I do love seeing the vignettes and we can replicate
a lot of these ideas in our own homes!

Look at this idea above the headboard! It's so casually beautiful to me ~

Gorgeous light fixtures....they make me want to go to Lowes
and buy some outdoor lighting and hang them inside!!

No explanation needed for the goodies below!! :)

I would LOVE to have the lighter shaded lamp in my studio!!

I love these glass orb lighting fixtures!

I also ordered a Pottery Barn kids because I wanted to see things for sweet Clara ~

I saw this hanging wreath idea and
can SO see it created out of sepia and cream coffee filter flowers OR
small pattern paper pom poms,
all attached to a foam core ring...What do you think??

I don't have to buy a thing from the catalog
but I can LOVE how much it inspires me!!!!

I saw on the latest Urban Farmhouse blog post
that the Country Living Fair is coming to Atlanta!!!!

In October, no less!!!! It will be gorgeous fall weather too....
the fair will be held at Stone Mountain....I HAVE GOT TO GO!!

Guess what....today, later this afternoon....
I'm getting my first pair of glasses EVER!
No more readers!!! So we'll see how goofy I look :)

Wishing you a wonderful and inspired Friday dear friends!
hugs and love,
Dawn

Oh my, I need to get my hands on that catalog! Gorgeous images & ideas! {And I just have to say it looks like PB has been sending spies out to the BarnHouse Boys' place to get ideas - so much of that is totally their style!}

I haven't seen the new catalog yet, but it looks like it could be dangerous. I'll have to vow that I won't buy anything before I look and will only take in their things for inspiration. Love the pillows and the decorative accessories you pictured. I think PB and Ballard's are the most copied by DIYers.

ooooooooooh Dawn, thanks for the heads-up. I may need to head to Atlanta in the fall! Love the PB catalog- I think they're catching on the the vintage rage we all seem to have. I'm ordering one too- just for inspiration. And I'm waiting for the Athropologie one to arrive. !!

Just 2 days ago, I was in Pottery Barn. I never go in there, too expensive and it is at the mall. I never really go to the mall. Anyway I picked up the teen catalog for my daughter to dream, and we found so many many things we want....that I will now have to duplicate. I didn't know about the other catalog. I am drooling and getting ready to order right now. Thanks.

I know- I need glasses too and keep putting it off but I can't even see the screen on my cell phone and it's embarrassing when you answer and call out the wrong name. :-)

I don't know why I haven't received my Pottery Barn catalog yet!!! Love what you posted! Your wreath idea sounds great (with coffee filters). Can't wait to see what you create! I have had glasses for years...my daughter helped me pick out some very funky ones - something I would never do on my own - and I love them! Be creative! Jamie V in MT

Oh yes, I am off to order a Pottery Barn Catalog and check out the dates of the Country Living Fair. I live in Alabama and Atlanta is about 3 hours. I am determined to be there! I love Country Living and the Junk Gypsies(just google them) they profile now and then. I went to Texas last spring just to meet them and what a fabulous trip I had. Smiles, Cyndi
